Yesterday someone here wrote that the text about Yosemite was a red herring because they were nowhere near that park or California at that time. I totally agree. But I'm not sure it was intentional on BL's part. I think he made a big mistake.

Assuming her mother's intuition is right and Gabby didn't write that message, the fact is that the van was close to Yellowstone, not Yosemite. Something had happened to Gabby and she was not there anymore, and BL was in a panic. He knew Gabby spoke to her mom all the time and he wanted to avoid questions after "whatever" happened to Gabby happened.

So in my opinion, he sent the message "No signal in Yosemite" to throw off her mother, but he screwed up and wrote the wrong park name. A blip of a frantic mind or a guilty conscience? I think it's a clue to his state of mind.

Another possibility. At the very end of the LE video, when Brian is being driven to a hotel for the night, the cop talks to Brian about places he thinks the 2 of them really must visit. Yosemite was one of those places. Maybe that's why it was on his mind...

Thank you. I just feel so angry that Brian's disappearance is now featuring so heavily in the news. It's taking publicity away from Gabby. Brian seems to be very good at thinking solely about himself.

And I've seen headlines that say "Couple Missing" and "Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie Both Missing."

I didn't hear the girl (Tik-Tok people), who gave him a ride say they returned the $200.00, so I assume they kept it. I did notice the drive was about 1/2 hour however, starting at 5:30 PM so I doubt it was the "same 200." ....Perhaps he just likes that number of bills to carry around. "A TikToker from Wisconsin has claimed she picked up Brian Laundrie, the person of interest in Gabby Petito's disappearance, as he was hitchhiking alone five days after his girlfriend went missing and one day before she last texted her mother.
In the video posted to the social media site Miranda Baker said she and her boyfriend were at Grand Teton National Park in Colter Bay, Wyoming, on August 29 when Laundrie approached the couple and asked them for a ride at 5.30pm.
'He approached us asking for a ride because he needed to go to Jackson and we were going to Jackson that night. So I said, ya know, "hop in" and he hopped in the back of my Jeep,' Baker explained.
She noted Laundrie, 23, was wearing 'a backpack, a long sleeve, pants and hiking boots' and said that before he got in the car he offered to pay the couple $200 to give him a 10-mile ride.

In these photos the mustang is not in the spot it is now. There was a post a few thread back where someone said they heard on a live where a reporter had not seen the mustang Tuesday but it came back Wednesday-anyone else remember that?

I just posted about this up thread. A reporter on scene just stated that the Mustang was not there on Tuesday but was there on Wednesday. Brian Entin has been live on scene for days. He said the Mustang may have showed up late at night. I take this to mean the wee hours when no one was there.

I have stood watching Old Faithful go off and have STILL called Yellowstone, Yosemite. I would consider that an error on whomever sent the text. MOO, MOO

Of course. But I don’t want him to control the whole narrative. And am personally getting caught up with each latest detail on *him* and I want to focus more on the search for *her*. I appreciated the reminder.

When was this Mustang last seen at the Laundrie's house? Was it on Monday/Tuesday? Do we know he ACTUALLY went "missing" on Tuesday? Because at this point, I cannot believe a single word uttered from these people.

If only BL/parents house had been under constant LE surveillance as a POI in a missing person case we might know the answer to the vehicle activity. Or perhaps they do know and aren’t talking.

I agree with this. I didn’t even watch the full video and I immediately saw her as a victim in a bad relationship and him as being narcissistic due to both of their behaviors and body language in the parts of the video I saw.

What about BL's behavior and body language makes you think "Narcissist"? Truly curious how people see this disorder and why people are seeing it in this case. What about her behavior tells you that he's a narcissist?

All of his behavior and actions are a sign of guilt and have been since Sept 1st. It is however up to LE to get the evidence, get him to spill and be able to prove it in a court of law.

According to Petito's best friend, while Laundrie presents himself as a sweet and caring guy, he is actually jealous and controlling.
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Rose Davis said Laundrie allegedly went so far as to hide Gabby's ID once so that she couldn't meet up with her at a bar, trigging a violent episode similar to the one police investigated weeks before her disappearance.
'Brian took her ID just so she wouldn't be able to come out with me,' she told DailyMail.com on Friday.
'He's got these jealousy issues and he struggles from what Gabby called these 'episodes,' where he would hear things and hear voices and wouldn't sleep.

The last trace of Robert Lowery, a traveler from Texas, was a ping from his cellphone in Jackson on Aug. 23, police told the Jackson Hole News & Guide.

The 46-year-old was seen on video from Aug. 19 at a restaurant at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village, and may have taken a ride in a Lyft the following day.

Lowery had never been to the area before, his sister, Leigh Lowery, told the paper, and had recently gotten a sleeping bag and a tent, but had no camping experience.

Before Lowery left his home in Houston, he canceled his mail, Jackson sheriff’s Deputy Chad Sachse told the paper.

In the third case, Cian McLaughlin, 27, was last seen June 8 hiking in the park by a local resident without a backpack. He was reported missing four days later.

FWIW, I debated adding those missing persons' last known locations to the Google Map but opted not to because the timing was off. BL & GP were still on the east coast in early June, and since they checked out of the hotel in SLC on Aug 24, that was still 5 days after Lowery was last seen.

Yep. LE discussed amongst themselves in great detail how the DV charges were defined & what the law was & how it all worked, as well as their own choices in how to proceed. They also told Brian in great detail what his own choices were & how it all worked. All of it was made entirely clear on the video.

Just for the record, BL couldn't drop the charges even if he wanted to. What they were telling him he could do was go to the police station and waive the "no contact" order that prevented her from contacting him.
