Yesterday someone mentioned it was about 1000 yards, which is approx 1/2 mile. I can't find the post, but someone posted an aerial view showing the 2 locations.
It’s about 200 yards, just on the other side of the creek from the road.

Unless she has information we don’t have about the timeline I think it’s been established here that it is entirely possible. We don’t know what she knows though. I though the tik tok was credible and certainly seems to fit the geographic locations well.Gabby’s mom doesn’t believe the hitchhiker was Brian. I can’t find the link but she said the timeline was too tight for him to have been in Miranda’s jeep at that time and then back in Florida on Sept 1.
If my adult child came home without their SO, and SO’s family contacted me about her whereabouts, I would most certainly force my child to call them. Yes, he is an adult and all that, but he lives in their home. Call them back or GTFO.obviously just my opinion but if my adult son returns from a trip without companion and refuses to talk I don’t call an attorney. I call the companions family and then if warranted I call police. If I ever have to google “is it a criminal offense NOT to report a body in…” for myself or my kids then I’m just doing life wrong.
Thank you. It looks like this video is what helped with the search area. It’s about 200 yards, just on the other side of the creek from the road.
Josh is in over his head. Remember Friday night, when we found out BL was "missing," Josh called in to talk to JB on WFLA and was being wildly defensive about all the criticism the NPPD was getting. It was really shockingly inappropriate, IMO. (It was live streamed and I don't know if WFLA keeps those recordings?)Those guys at NPPD are completely overwhelmed by this case. Not a professional response, IMO.
None of us know what Brian told his family. He could have told them that she decided to break up with him and ran off with another guy she met, so they felt compelled to protect/help him. They most likely thought this was all one big misunderstanding if Brian indeed lied to them. We really don't know.
Maybe his family finally took their heads out of their behinds with her body being found and realized that he did actually harm her.Perhaps they've been in contact with him or the family is being more cooperative and they have reason to believe he will be turning himself in soon.
he was wearing sandals as seen in the video when the cops detained him.
True, but direct evidence combined with circumstantial evidence is better. For example, he used a gun he was in possession of after, or, he bit her arm and dental records prove it was him. Things like that.
Except then you probably say that when a panicked mom calls you. I keep seeing this idea being floated but it doesn’t sit right with me. I’d be willing to bet that they knew from pretty early on. And an excellent catch by the original sleuther (here? elsewhere?) who posted this detail!I watched that dang video so many times yesterday trying to see what others were seeing. Thanks for posting this video; it's unmistakable to me now that the back van door is clearly being shut.
Incredible video showing Gabby’s van. The detail is amazing on this clip! I’m still feeling beyond grateful that this YouTube family from Florida, on vacation in the Tetons, were able to spot the van on their video, and notify the authorities, which led to finding Gabby. Many thanks to the person who made this clip showing a closeup of the van.Worth a look. Edit: it is a cleaned up version.
Knowing where she was found doesn't make it likely that she sent the message to her mother on the 30th. So whoever tried to impersonate her, must be guilty of a cover up. I'm sure the police has her phone pings.None of us know what Brian told his family.
