Why are their friends, her friends, his friends not speaking up. At 22, 23, you may not tell your parents everything but you'd tell your friends. Also, with all the fights, disagreements did Gabby ever tell her parents? Did she call and tell anyone about the Moab police incident?

I remember prior to GP's body being found reading something in which GP's mom said that there was "increasing tension" between the two of them. I think that's the only thing that indicates that GP may have been talking to mom about what was going on.

So, I was out driving listening to The Story with Martha MacCallum. She was interviewing a neighbor of the Laundries. Did anyone see it before I put out false information? It was really important..

ETA it was today and the information has not been reported before.
Yes, mentioned a couple of pages back, I saw the story on tv today.

First time poster but very quickly turning addict here.

If the story of packing up that camper shell are true and they were gone for 2 to 3 days... he could be stashed up with a lot of food and supplies somewhere within a 1 to 1.5 day drive. Or could have paid cash for a beat up car off the record to keep driving. All the reports of neighbors seeing him seem to have been in the first few days after the 9/1 return. Sounds like this trip was the weekend of the 10th.

Mobile is about an 8.5 hour drive and there was talk of some spottings around there, even if the homeless guy that was found dead in Tillmans Corner wasn't him.

Houston is about a 15 hour drive, Nashville 11 1/2 hours, DC 14 1/2 hours. Lots of remote places they could have driven to that weekend and no one I believe has verified he's been in Florida since other than the parents saying he went hiking Tuesday the 14th.

I really hope that as soon as I hit post the reload shows BL was found in that swamp.

I great post, let alone, a first post!

I appreciate your logical approach. You bring up very good points that are very easily consumed.

If the trip report is accurate and no one has seen him sense, you may be onto something.

As more sightings of them are reported, and more people come forward describing GP & BL relationship, it just breaks my heart so much. This young woman wanted nothing more than to explore and so share her journey with the world. She put on a smile and made these videos that showed a beautiful couple and their beautiful journey. Learning what BL was really like behind the camera, and how rocky their relationship was makes me sad. It couldn't have been easy to put on a smile all the time for footage. I'd bet that in itself put a huge strain on them as well. MOO

I think but I don't know for sure, there has to be an arrest warrant before a reward is offered. I could be wrong though.
The lack of a reward being posted - by anyone... ANYONE - seems strange to me. FBI wanted list. Allegedly critical person in one of the highest (media, at least) profile. Untold thousands of dollars being consumed... not to mention the peril of search team personnel. Nobody on the planet has offered a reward. OK.

It sounds quite possible they hadnt been served yet and it sounded like they stormed out. Possibly nothing to pay?

Yes it kind of seems that way I’m hoping that this new witness with her claiming that her boyfriend has a “photographic memory” that he’ll be able to recall exactly to LE was said in that exchange and if he over heard conversation beforehand as the witness claims they were sitting right next to them. MOO

That is very useful information and thank you.
Also, welcome to Websleuths!

Something big up with that camping trip. He had just returned from months of camping and living in a van. No matter what he told his parents, its illogical that just days later he would go camping for 3 days with both of his parents in that sardine can. Imo, they were packing his supplies and setting him up a place.

Yep and unless it escalates to physical violence (and even then - sometimes not) - rarely would a call be made outside of the establishment. Servers/hostesses have to deal with SO MUCH CRAP.

Having bartended for ~15 years, I can confirm this. I cannot remember the faces of the people involved in altercations that have to be thrown out of the bar because I deal with so many of them in a single night. No one calls the cops unless something physically violent happens, and even then - not always.

So BL flies to FL to move their stuff into storage from Aug. 17 - Aug. 23, then someone sees BL driving around Spread Creek camping area alone, being weird, on Aug. 26th, then GP and BL are together at a restaurant in Jackson around 1-2pm on Aug. 27, BL now acting agitated, then the van is seen parked randomly back at the campground by 6pm on the 27th and gone by the 29th. Is this correct?

<modsnip>

We are not sure. We were just instructed by mods here not to discuss it.

So you are saying this camper "shell", which is what we call it in my neck of the woods, is currently at the Laundries' home? Hmmm....I was picturing it situated someplace and BL living in it currently. If not, then what do we think the thought process around this recently purchased truck and camper shell would be? A plan unexecuted? A way to conceal something you transported to hide (survival supplies?)

Admittedly, I am reaching here and haven't had time to think it through, but I do find this truck/camper shell really thought provoking.

Edited to add that the father of my husband's best childhood friend had a camper shell on his pick up and they used it quite a bit as a makeshift sleeper on camping trips. Obviously just father and son type stuff and not that comfy, but that is how they used theirs.

FOX NEWS showed two aerial photographs on screen, side by side in the same shot as anchor and neighbors were talking. One showed only the truck in the driveway. The other photo showed the over hood shell camper in the driveway and the truck also in the driveway. The camper was not on the truck in the photo.

FOX NEWS w/ Margaret MacCallum at 3:08 ET - Interview with neighbors who moved across the street from Brian, Gabby and his parents in June but did not/ do not “know” them: Neighbor said they saw the son and parents stock with supplies, a newly bought camper which fits down into the bed of a pickup truck and hangs over the cab. Then the 3 of them went on a “couple or 3 day trip together”… which the neighbors said they thoughts was odd for a son that age to go away with his parents in a tiny camper such as that. This was a few weeks ago after Brian returned from trip with Gabby, according to neighbors.

This is really curious to me. Maybe they were setting him up a hideout somewhere and stocking him up. I typically just read, but had to jump in here, lol. IMO

Holy Moly!!!!
John Walsh on Fox News going nuts!
Talking about a camper top for red pickup……saying he thinks Brian was secreted away in the truck
Blaming Utah police for Gabbys death
Calling “dirty Laundries” lawyer a lot of names…
What a drama!! Yet, worthless.

So, adding in the lunch stop at the Merry Piglets on Friday, August 27, we may be able to confirm Gabby was alive at least around that time. This leads me to believe that she did in fact send the Snapchat to her friend that said she was on her way to Yellowstone on the 27th. However, I think that she DID NOT send the text to her mother asking her to "help Stan" on the 27th.

The restaurant is around 40 minutes from the campsite where Gabby's remains were found. JMO but I think her time of death is somewhere between the sighting at the restaurant at 1-2PM and the time the text was sent to her mother. Date of death - Friday, August 27th.
I'm still awaiting some confirmation from another possible sighting in Yellowstone of BL on the night of the 26th. I don't think there's an approved source yet for this. I still think that they did go to Yellowstone and then returned back either late that night or earlier on the 27th to the area where the van was spotted that afternoon. I think he went back to an area he knew was secluded but they had visited.

FBI needs the videos at Walmart/Target etc.., seen it so many times solve other cases. question is how smart are these people, what mistake is going to solve it, the suspense is mounting.

There is a Walmart only half a mile from the Laundrie house in North Port, although I would (hope) LE has already reviewed/is in possession of relevant footage if it exists. Not to mention there are Walmarts all over the place. On top of that, Walmart parking lots have a reputation as providing a safe and reliable place to park overnight in the van life community so a camper probably wouldn't be anything abnormal.

great add to the mix of possible scenarios...cash purchase of another vehicle.

unfortunately the restaurant stated their cameras do not go that far back but that is the seemingly last confirmed sighting of GP we have at the moment.
I’m confused as to why the restaurant staff and the others are just now realizing this. It’s national news and their story is everywhere. Even if they forgot the incident, it would certainly be triggered once they saw the news.
