Let me just say that I live in the NYC area (closer to NYC than BL was when he lived on Long Island), and neither I nor any of my friends and associates act up in restaurants in any way. The idea that we are all rude and boorish jerks is quite annoying!
No doubt. There was no disrespect intended. For the record, WNY has it's share of rude & boorish jerks!! :) And, as far as geographically rooted misconceptions... WNY is NOT always under 6 feet of snow! And, yes, I get it, 4 super bowls... no rings!

I thought the restaurant said it doesn't keep camera footage very long? I do think the staff will happily reveal what they know.

You might, if you went to check up on him and saw that police had left a notice indicating the car would be towed the next day, which is what MSM says happened. So they moved it.

I certainly would. He wouldn't be able to use it to get home and impound fees are not fun. I do think this indicates he probably has a phone or two.

If there was an argument of sorts with the staff, they would more than likely remember this incident. You may see lots of customers per day but you always remember the ones who were a-holes to you.

My guess is the Laundries went camping the weekend of 9/4-9/5 to ditch evidence, which probably included cellphone(s).

Why the FBI did not take the camper is a real mystery. It's likely there was real evidence in that thing at one time.

I’ve sent it to JB And Walt from WFLA as well as NPPD Facebook. Not sure how to send it to them if I were to call
I called the news station too. It was a story by news4jax so I called them.

I am way behind, so I don’t know if the incident has been vetted further, but I wanted to add something that immediately came to mind with your last sentence.

About 3 weeks ago, we were in a restaurant and a customer became irate. He kept coming back in the restaurant yelling and we were seated right near where it was occurring. It was so disruptive Law Enforcement was called. I just tried to remember what he was saying, and I realized I can’t. I can only remember the event from a visual play by play.
Well, I understand that we often look away from embarrassing things. Still, she saw that Gabby was sobbing, and he was yelling, I think I'm nosy enough that I would be listening, if only to brush him off as "idiot" under my breath.

Yes the timeline is really becoming focused due to the eyewitness reports. It seems she may have died sometime on the 28th (MOO). :(
I'm starting to wonder if she died on Aug. 27th, sometime in the 4.5-5.5 hour gap between the restaurant and the van video.

I wonder where Gabby was when the lady/dog saw him alone in the van on the 26th. You'd think at least she would be outside doing hand signals to help him into that spot.

Their camping spot? Really? Hand signals for that tiny van? With a panel van, I fear running over someone unless it has wide mirrors and really, I would prefer a back-up camera. At any rate, I've backed into spots like that without help since I had a license - and my neighbors back into tiny spaces on their front lawns all the time (in panel vans too).

I almost never see anyone guiding anyone into a spot when we're camping - even I think they should use one. It's always for those big RV's. Which are allowed at Spread Creek - but not in those pull-outs. Spread Creek has pull-through spots for big RV's.

If she wasn't in the passenger seat though, that's strange, because she'd have to be curled up on that little bed area, with all that stuff around her...

I don't think he's in the park and I don't think he's gonna off himself. I just don't ...but all those dogs must have hit on something..He could have been there for awhile and left...he had plenty of time..mOO

That's interesting, because when Gabby's mother was interviewed recently she says that Gabby and Brian had broken off their engagement. Her mother, Nichole Schmidt, says they both felt they were too young. She added, "they were really just boyfriend and girlfriend."( This was in the NYPost)

This sounds as though they broke off the engagement sometime during their road trip, and Gabby shared this information with her mother, apparently after August 26th? Maybe this isn't at all relevant, as it's obvious they should have never been together in the first place.

Yeah I remember that too, but maybe after their big fight in Moab and them making up they said went all lovey dovey for a few days and then back to fighting. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case.

Since this camper story has now surfaced. I believe the following happened.
Parents sat in the front seat of the truck, and drove the camper away(Brian is in the back of it).
They drive him along with the supplies to his hide away or gateway to get away spot.
This explains how he has not actually been seen leaving.

The parents stage his Mustang at the reservoir, and arrange for its return.
This buys him even more necessary time to throw off his true location.
He is not hiding in this swamp, and he seems too narcissistic to commit suicide.
Everything about his parents behavior screams they are more than willing to protect their son, and keep him not only of the spotlight- but prison.

Yes, I actually did. I was told this by my daughter a earlier this week. She is on many forums that I am not and she read an account of some people who were dining in the restaurant. Like I said, I didn't bring it here because I had no source. Reported to LE and reported by news media are two entirely different things. I can assure you that I am not mistaken. Please do not tell me what I know and do not know. Thank you.
I’m pretty sure I saw something yesterday being said about a restaurant sighting but I didn’t pay it too much mine so I’m not sure if I saw it here or elsewhere. It may not have been the current news story but I’m almost certain it involved a restaurant worker.

If they wanted to hide him they could have flown him out of the US. It would be stupid to set him up to be hunted down. At first I thought the same thing. I think this is the reason they are searching the woods….. they believe he’s there, not because the parents said so.

Not sure about that incident. I was just trying to guesstimate a time.
I just listened to the interview with the neighbors again and the camping trip happened before they knew that GP was missing.

The parents answered the door on the 11th and gave LE the lawyer's info, so they were there that day. There's no evidence that BL there that day that we know of, though. Maybe he was. Maybe he wasn't.
Well then something is wrong with their account. There are only two possible weekends this could have occurred. The first (3,4,5) or the second (10,11,12). Unless they weren’t gone on an actual weekend, rather 2 or 3 days during the week. Hmm.

So this would mean that BL's parents refused to help him move some stuff when he was across the country but didn't have a problem not speaking to police on his behalf and hiring an attorney? Hmmmm... Please know I am not directing this question to you, just the situation.
Storage locker not verified as of yet. Might not be reason he came back. Might not be in picture at all. We may never find out why he returned. No one has to answer that question. I don’t know how relevant that trip is, given GP was alive when he returned.

If this is legit, the restaurant will probably have to give all security footage to the FBI. The staff will be more than likely be questioned.

The restaurant said their footage doesn't go back that far. Nina is from New Orleans, they got hit with a Cat 5 hurricane. This case isn't on everyone's radar and some people haven't followed it closely once they had even heard about it. I don't find it weird they are just connecting the dots. Most of Louisiana is kind of just getting back on track due to the hurricane. I don't know Nina personally but we have a ton of close friends in common. I don't think she would make this up.

Could have been anagram to her mum: Send The Authorities Now ?

I have followed Gabby's threads from the beginning. The anagram really spoke to me. STAN "Send The Authorities Now". Gabby would not have called her Grandfather Stan, which left us to believe Brian sent the message from her phone. "Can you help Stan?" The anagram fits. IMO

LOL. I'm in Western New York State... but, I'll say that those, y'know, 'downstaters' have a "directness" not generally associated with the balance of the state. Many times, it's refreshing.

Not a native New Yorker but I attended college in NYC and people are definitely direct, but if someone was causing a scene like Brian allegedly was at the restaurant, people would likely intervene. The saying "New Yorkers look out for each other" is definitely true. Just the other week when I was up in the city, I was going to bodega at 12:30am and saw a guy standing next to a girl who was crouched over the ground throwing up and in the 5 minutes I was there, no less than 3 people stopped to help and offer water/Gatorade/call EMS and make sure she was okay and not in danger. I have no doubt that the type of outbursts Brian appears to have had wouldn't have been tolerated, IMO.
