I would like to know how The Merry Piglets confirmed that Gabby and Brian where at their restaurant and not another couple. An exact date and time would also be helpful. JMO.
Agree but I am sure law enforcement has that info. They said they reported it and that’s all they will comment publicly.

The most important bit of this is when Gabby was last scene alive , and that appears to be at that restaurant on Friday, Aug 27.

Excellent, excellent point

It gets a bit lost in all the different issues.

" Reportedly " Last seen alive, about 1:30 (mountain time) on 8/27 at a restaurant in Jackson Wyoming

If this could be verified by additional corroborating data it would be important

Ok, the couple that identified them at the restaurant had a series of convos on whatsap with the merry piglets which I think was meant to stay private but the couple published it and then I think the merry piglets got annoyed at everybody asking them questions and denied it and the latest is that they state they were there okay and that FBI was informed and they want no further talk in this regard...
This is my rough reading of the merry piglets.

The couple who witnessed them did provide a date and a time.

Total speculation on my part, but it's possible that Brian made the cross after he got back to the spot where the van was parked at Spread Creek when the couple he offered $200 to dropped him off. Maybe at that point he was rational enough to realize what he'd done and erected the 'memorial'? MOO.
nope...it was not in aerial footage when her remains were discovered.

Yes, it's staggering. Obviously BL feels like he's never 'finished' with an argument, and there's always more he needs to add.
I wish LE would have walked into that restaurant when he was in full swing.....he would've become as sweet as a lamb, just like he did in the Utah police video.
Poor Gabby was living with a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde.

700 yards not feet. It’s been stated between 700-900 yards which is quite the distance
Trying to find it again but I’m pretty sure the distance was 700 ft. Originally I saw 200 yds.

This was my exact thought too, when realizing when he went back for the van, she would have still been just laying there. Wondering if he was even remorseful at all.

How does West Yellowstone fit in? I assumed they drove to Jackson and then north into the Tetons? If they entered at West Yellowstone, that would have been quite a bit further north. They'd have driven down through about 2/3 of Yellowstone to get to the Tetons. It didn't sound as though the pair had reached the Yellowstone portion of their schedule.

Once you're in Victor, it's easier to stay west of Yellowstone and Teton.

So south to Jackson, west to Victor, north through Driggs, Ashton, then US20 through the Henry's Flats area to West Yellowstone. Easy driving, about 2.5 hours if I recall correctly. Then you make your way south through the park, stopping for geysers and wildlife and possibly West Thumb, and eventually getting back to Grand Teton from the north. It's a lot slower going that way, so they probably didn't get back until late if indeed they did that route.

Here's the map: Google Maps

Would guess and hope they are monitoring everything, including finances, phones, live audio/video from within home, and exterior.

Inside the home can only be monitored with a court order or warrant. Same for phone and financial records. Audio can’t be secretly monitored in private places, although State laws vary a lot in what is considered a private place. (For instance, if one uses a special sound amplifier to listen to a conversation that would be out of earshot without it, but the conversation you are listening to takes place in a park? Depends on the state.)

If that kind of monitoring is going on, it is with a warrant or some kind of court approval.

However, LE can follow persons in public or listen undercover in public without a warrant" For example, detectives could have followed Mr. L. on his shopping trip to buy milk, photographed his trek with his bags in the parking lot, followed him to any stops, etc. LE is also able to get a lot of information such as security footage from municipalities and private owners who extend that courtesy to LE.

I understand that. I would still like to know how they confirmed their presence and when it was. It's just a wish of mine.

LE getting all details is more important that me having those facts now. JMO

The neighbors across the street saw him with his mother, saw him in the garage helping his father, saw him mowing the lawn.

I hope they are willing to testify under oath to the tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

This is important evidence that must stand up in court

Sorry. I stated the obvious. There’s lots of confusion/misinformation coming thru here no didn’t mean to be abrupt

They did not need a suicide note.
They could have planted the car there. DECOY

The car that LE tagged but apparently did not connect to the family ??? Even though LE was "watching" him ???
How did they miss this ??

But now because the car was there, that is where they are searching, IMO

I think the "camping trip" that the 3 of them took to wherever they went is where he is. or passed off to someone

There have been no pleas from HIS family begging for help in finding him.

Because they KNOW where he is.

Car is the decoy, IMO and it worked... it was only tagged.
LE lost their POI

he could be anywhere and family knows where. IMO
Agreed @Spartygirl !!!

It seemed odd to me that LE said ok we've searched the reserve as best we can, we're done. Then they raid BL's parent's house and the next day the search in the reserve is back on.

Makes me think LE thought, ok car parked here was a decoy, he's absconded from this area. Then something found on those hard drives changed their minds back to he's suicidal and in the swamp somewhere?
There are game cams in the Preserve. Maybe they had a sighting.

There was a reported sighting in Victor,ID which is very close to Yellowstone and they talked about Yellowstone at the Victor sighting plus we know Gabby was supposed to talk to her friend about a meet up there on the 29th. I am not sure if she was supposed to actually meet them there on the 29th. They could have been going there to find a nice place to meet. Also theres another sighting of BL that's out there at Yellowstone that you have to research yourself.

I got a question that might answer a few things. Are Gabbys sandals in the van? My guess is he took those from the scene and didn’t want them back in the van in case they had blood on them etc. Where are those sandals? If they were on gabby then we know she passed after that van sighting. If not, where are they and they were hid or disposed prior to return home
