Sept. 1st. - Brian arrived home and is seen by his neighbors in North Port residence: biking with mother, working in garage with father, mowing lawn.
*Assuming the neighbor's observations are correct, if the camper left the residence late on Sept. 3rd., 4th., 5th. There were three full days to load Brian up and take him as far away as a day and a half drive would take them. After dropping him off, the return would be at least a day and a half.
Sept. 10th - Calls to BL and family from Gabby's parents go unanswered
Sept. 11th - Gabby's parents reported her missing.
Sept. 11th - Police visited the Laundrie residence, but made no contact with Brian.
On or before Sept. 11th. - The Laundrie lawyer is hired.
There is no subsequent LE contact with the Laundries (minus Brian) until Sept. 13th.

Sept. 13th. - The first public announcement from the Laundries comes from their lawyer. The lawyer claims he spoke to Brian via telephone on the 13th. and that he was in his parent's home at the time of the call.

The Laundrie lawyer has never met face-to-face with his clients.
The neighbors were the last people, outside his immediate family, to actually see Brian Laundrie.
I think the Mustang story is a ruse.
I think the lawyer cannot be believed about Brian's whereabouts on the 13th.
* Sept 23rd. - After being questioned as to whether Brian is a danger to himself or the public, BL's lawyer responds, "No."

MOO the neighbors are not certain exactly what days they saw BL. I couldn’t tell you when I saw what neighbors over a week ago. Especially when they are acting normally which they Laundries were. It was for iOS aid that BL was doing normal stuff.

The exact days of that camper trip are not ascertained here either. Maybe LE has them. The parents did talk to LE upon reporting BL missing and I’d be surprised if that excursion did not come up. Doesn’t look like LE is that focused on it unless they went to that preserve where they are searching. I doubt Laundries are lying about anything. They seem to be following legal advice precisely. It would also be too easy for LE to track that local trip.

Could be, maybe things have changed. All I can say is the way it is now it's difficult to separate fact from fiction.

We think alike. Also after the incident of Gabby getting killed (by accident or complete lack of control by Brian) per his past personality/character actions....he did not bury her ...he ran. First on foot, then probably realized that was not working, went back to get the van and drove home.

When there was no longer a way to hide that Gabby was missing he went into the swamp...or some other wilderness area? Did his parents take him somewhere else.

Yeah that's entirely possible in regards to the hitchhiking as well. It would explain why he got worked up when he was told they were heading in the wrong direction.

He may have been suicidal upon return home, and his parents wanted to remove him from the situation to clear his head and think of how to proceed next. Whether accidental or not, the last thing his parents wanted to do was lose him as well.

What do we know about how they have raised their son? Have we been there? Have we lived life with these people? This parent bashing serves no purpose if not for self promotion.

We do not know these parents or how they raised their child.

I apologize if this offends. Quite honestly, it is offensive to hear this bitterness replay continuously. We can have theories and do so without bashing.

My moment of frustration.

Your opinion doesn’t offend me. You’re entitled to it, just as I’m entitled to mine. You’re allowed to rant over my position, just like I’m allowed to say what my position is.

That said, I don’t think I was “bashing” anyone. The facts are he’s a 23 year old with no education that we know of beyond high school, very minimal work experience, girlfriend living in his bedroom, and he’s traveling the country barefoot living in a van full of stuff. His only concern seems to be his plants. My 13 year old has more responsibilities than he seems to have.

His girlfriend went missing and his parents hired him an attorney and seem to have enabled him to disappear. In fact they gave him at least 3 days head start between when they claim he went missing and when they told the cops. And they refused to offer any information to help her parents find her, or even say to him that he came home with the van, which is completely unforgivable.

You can call that what you want; I call it enabling and failing to hold him accountable.

Normally when a cause of death isn't released, it's because they are waiting on toxicology.

They called this a homicide though, so I think they likely do have a preliminary cause of death.

So it's possible they are waiting on tox to release the official cause of death, or maybe the coroner wants a second opinion or something.

I saw an article today regarding this. I’ll try to hunt it down again. Basically it said they may not release the COD to the public so it keeps the integrity of the investigation and it may take longer than originally expected for the results. The funeral may be delayed as well because of this.

@Okiruy If you pull up Google maps and add "airports near North Port, Fl" it will show you the private ones as well. I see a Helipad there too. Hopefully this helps.

I saw footage of them returning being escorted. Mother was in mustang, father in red pickup truck. She parked it, then walked over to husband, got in and drove off with police behind.

If we really want to go off the rails and speculate, there is a US Marshal's office (401 W Central Blvd) and a Federal Courthouse nearby to 120 N. Orange as well.

But the question becomes, if they are in Orlando for a defense attorney or something more profound (US Marshals), why would they come to Orlando when Tampa is so much closer to North Port and has all of those same things at either the same caliber or higher (ie, the US Marshals office in Tampa is the District Headquarters)? So, IMO they would only choose Orlando over Tampa if they had a specific attorney (if, in fact, they are here for that) or other Orlando-specific reason to be here.

Can you even imagine the conversations going on in the Laundrie truck today? Whatever the dynamics of BL and GP's relationship, I don't think anyone would have imagined back in June, when they were leaving for their adventure, that this would be their outcome two and three months later.

This applies to every person impacted by GP's death. It's devastating.

I’ve seen it mentioned that BL has no friends and is a bit of a ‘loner’. My thoughts are that there are many of these types who live ‘normal’ lives. There are also killers out there who are extremely social.

Some people just aren’t interested in or feel they don’t need a high level of social interaction. Doesn’t make them murderers.

I have also seen many posts criticising his lack of support or apparent jealousy toward’s GP’s goal of becoming a successful social media personality. While ideally a healthy relationship should involve both sides wanting the other to ‘win’, it’s common for couples—especially young ones—to face these issues at some point. Most don’t end like this.

Having said that...

Perhaps it not so much that GP was becoming ‘successful’ but that his passion—design—wasn’t giving him the attention he thought he deserved.

Maybe he felt that she was ‘selling out’ by turning
what he considered a wholesome, natural and ‘earthy’ pastime into something more commercial and self-indulgent, which is strange considering his apparent controlling behaviour.

Could he not really know who or what he was which resulted in him not coming across as warm or sincere on the socials? Could this be why, from what others have said, he lurked around in the background, scared of being seen while GP’s personality shone through and cranked up all of those social interactions?

Did he hide behind his art for the same reason, hoping one day it would give him the recognition he thought he was owed? Seems he didn’t post much of that either which could suggest he was scared of rejection.

Did he try and be the cool boyfriend in the background but was secretly seething inside because ultimately he knew this #vanlife project was going to get too big for him and he couldn’t cope with seeing GB ‘make it’ and him be left empty?

For a narcissist looking to control, there can be no more suited place to do this than in a small van over many months. Most families struggle spending a few weeks together confined so the tension would have been huge given what we have heard about his alleged controlling behaviour.

For GB, #vanlife was about freedom but became the opposite in reality. What further hurts is that she would have felt the need to present as if she was ‘living the dream’ to her followers. One can only imagine how that affected her mental health.

All I really know is a young lady lost her life in tragic circumstances while she was just getting started. May she rest in peace and justice be served.

I see many posts saying that maybe BL didn’t mean to kill Gabby.

If he put a hand to her he meant to harm her. He intended to do that.

If he put his hands around her throat and squeezed and didn’t stop until she stopped fighting he not only meant to harm her, he meant to kill her.

If he struck her with a bat or a tree limb or rock over her head and continued striking her until she succumbed, he meant to kill her.

If he pulled a gun on her and pulled the trigger he meant to kill her.

I don’t care if there was a fight and in the heat of the moment he lost it on her. He meant to harm and kill.

There is no excuse for murder.

Gabby was murdered. She is a victim of homicide with a tangible trail of evidence of domestic violence and abuse.

BL absolutely meant to kill her and IMO that’s exactly what he did.
