I haven't seen the entire thread, I am curious whether the pictures and graphic art he posted (and presumably drew) has been noted. It is quite violent. To be sure from the Iliad, to Francis Bacon to Hollywood, lots of disturbing violent imagery has been authored by people who are not violent. But still I find it possibly relevant that he had a fascination with hyper violent images.

I don't want to jump to conclusions about him but I agree about the "art". The man with the wolf mask, holding a knife and drenched in blood, was super creepy. It also had the man wearing a jacket with the letter "B" on it.

Thank you for bringing this up. Help me out, please. This Ubereats thing is probably not important in GP's disappearance but its bothering me. There was a power outage. So she couldn't use her cell phone? How did she communicate with her dad to tell him so?

Not arguing, I'm sure you are correct. I'm just slow.

Hotels have still got landlines with the clunky traditional phones of my youth, IME; so that would be my guess as to what Gabby was using to communicate with her dad.

i have a feeling that this case is gonna get solved sooner rather then later..

I have the exact same initial feeling. Sadly I fear the obvious is what’s happened and the end outcome will not be good. Still. I don’t expect this to take months. MOO.

Does anyone have any idea WHY they’re releasing the body camera footage?
The local Fox affiliate filed a FOIA request (mentioned at the Fox video above). LE probably realized that it would be granted and decided it wasn't worth fighting about it.

what is the dead body chemical that cadavers leave? I can’t remember. Plenty of blood evidence could be found too.
I believe it called Adipocere. maybe not be spell right?

I registered to make a few comments. This is moving SO fast, when I went to register, there were 6 pages. When I finished, there were 20, so my apologies if this has already been floated.

Regarding: BL’s trip back to FL to move items to-from a storage unit. I don’t buy it. I think he flew back because they were fighting/broke up. BUT - I think that possibly, he flew back to Utah because she begged him to come back so she didn’t have to make that drive back alone. This is plausible and I think his parents would fund it to be sure there was no liability on their part if something happened to her, driving alone. And I think his family ponied up her $$ for her hotel stay. Also, it will be revealing to know if it was booked as a round trip flight, or one way in each direction. Time will tell.

What did she tell her parents while alone in SLC for a week? Not much. I know from personal experience - I never told my parents much about my fights/breakups, because if I did, they held a grudge against my BF, and if things turned around, it was an impossible situation. She may not have even known he didn’t intend to return.

Someone mentioned that maybe she disappeared and his family summoned him home. Who would do that? If I were on vacation with my boyfriend and I left him alone briefly and he disappeared, driving back home would be my LAST resort. I would call the authorities. Even if they blew me off, at least there would be a record that i tried. Obviously, this is all speculation. IMO

Welcome to Websleuths @sunrider! Great first post.

We didn't have any knowledge about BL's trip to Florida until Tuesday evening when Gabby's mom gave an exclusive interview to the DM citing that BL returned to Florida in August (no date given) to help his dad move things out of storage, and she wanted to know where her daughter's things were.

Another story followed on Wednesday morning that included BL was requested to return to Florida by his dad to help move his things out of storage and back to their home to save money (eliminating the storage fees)!

It sounds so silly to suggest that BL's exclusive help would be necessary when he could probably hire a day laborer at a fraction of the cost compared to the cost of BL's travel from Utah to Florida! I agree with you -- this return to Florida was probably intended to be a one-way flight after a fight or break-up.

I think after a few days apart the couple decided that BL should return to Utah and join GP if anything but to help her drive back to Florida, whether that meant at the end of the week or the conclusion of the Itinerary.

Sadly, I'm afraid the plan failed, and GP probably he victim of a crime. MOO

Presser at noon tomorrow.
Brian Entin
@BrianEntin

What to expect tomorrow: we believe the body camera video from the Utah incident between Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie will be released. Also - at noon - the FBI, North Port Police, and a member of the Petito family will hold a press conference. I'll be there.

Cadaverine.

IIRC "adipocere" is another term simply for decomposing fat cells. Maybe a byproduct; but not a chemical.

Again, IMO, as I'm surely no scientist.

It looks like that street is packed with news vans. I guess there’s a price to be paid for not telling a young woman’s family what happened to her.
I do not have one ounce of sympathy for them. One makes choices in life. They're suffering the consequences of said choice.

I hope this doesn't put too much pressure on Brian though, like Fotis Dulos, which I think is Mr. Petito's worry.

I think the media usually request 911 calls and body camera footage to help with their reporting.

Yes, they do. I'm just hoping that's the only reason it's been requested and is being released.

The body camera video from the Utah domestic dispute incident between Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie will be released tomorrow .

That suggests to me that LE must be drawing the net tighter around BL. They know he and the L family will certainly watch it. Maybe this is meant to get the parents to view BL in this situation in real time and to help them see GP as distraught and vulnerable as she no doubt was.

Thank you, it is standard practice for Media outlets to request 911 calls and body camera or surveillance footage.

I don't see it being noted by anyone involved in the investigation. But the relevance of his art is like the relevance of people saying video games or rap music causes violence, i.e. it's not fair.

It wouldn't be a cause but more of peek into where his head is. That said, we live in a very demented society where extremely violent images in "art" and language have become common. However, now we have a missing young woman so where BL's head is takes on greater significance.

Would someone really risk driving across country with a body in the van?

Pure Speculation…..it’s is theoretically possible. Drive under the speed limit. Stay under the raider/don’t be suspicious. And you’ll be good for the whole drive. Also I’ll add…..most criminals even in so called crimes of passion tend to be not the brightest bulbs around(of course there’s always exceptions). Specifically awful at strategy and any sort of long term plans. Seems the amount of time before many are caught is just dumb luck and LE either being incompetent or just not picking up on the obvious or what one would assume to be obvious red flags. MOO.
