The authorized reward will remain open for two months starting from the receipt of the tip by the investigating law enforcement," according to a statement from the law firm.

"Only one reward is offered and cannot be split," Shakira said, adding the reward is offered to the first person to supply information leading directly to the "exact whereabouts" of Laundrie.

Well they sure did a thorough job. Now what?

I don't think they've said if they are returning tomorrow, but this is the time it has ended each day.

It surely can't go on for much longer.

Ok so if CL and RL did retain a lawyer in Orlando, would it be for themselves or for BL?

No they are still with the same attorney, or at least that is who they met with today according to the screenshot from the twitter link.

The question is: did Brian’s parents help him get away?

“If they knew what happened, and they intended to protect their son from detection in some way whether they’re helping him escape or hiding him, then yes they can be arrested an accessory after the fact,” justice studies professor Pamella Seay said.

Seay said when it comes to possible murder, there is no parent-child privilege in court. While the Laundries have the right to remain silent, they do not have the right to hide their son.

“You can’t run away, you can’t hide, that’s what has occurred here is that Brian Laundrie has totally disappeared,” Seay said. “If these parents have protected their son inappropriately, they could look at anywhere from 5 to 15 years of prison or probation.”

So I guess it’s confirmed that they have an attorney in Orlando. I wonder who it is!

I know it's been said before but the mere fact that they leave each night seems to indicate that they are not looking for a live person.

Even though it looks like SB is saying he met them in Orlando, I bet they formally retained local counsel too. That is the proper way to represent someone outside of your state or practice area - you are allowed to partner with someone in the jurisdiction and continue to work on the case.

Arresting Brian Laundrie's parents 'could be tricky' if no further evidence presented
It "could be tricky" for law enforcement to arrest Brian Laundrie's parents for not sharing information with law enforcement if no further evidence is presented against them, according to a Florida-based criminal defense attorney.

Laundrie, 23, is a person of interest in the FBI's investigation into deceased 22-year-old Gabby Petito's disappearance and homicide.

"If the parents lawyered up very early on and they haven't really made any statements other than to friends prior to this becoming an investigation [into] Brian Laundrie, then it may be kind of tricky. It may be difficult because I'm not sure what crime they committed," Ajay Pallegar, managing attorney at Pallegar Law in Tampa, Florida, told Fox News.
