They'll check everything in a homicide, even if the cause of death is gunshot or strangulation they will still send organs to the lab and stomach contents and body fluids, if available. Victim could possibly have been poisoned or weakened by substances prior to fatal attack..

And examining each and every bone I'm sure. I know that takes time.

His looks seem so changeable. Clean-shaven, he looks very different to me. I think he will be difficult to recognize. Photos are copyright Fox13News, NY Post, abcnews.go, independent.co.uk, and people.com.

This is from what BL TOLD Gabby's friend. And if he said the "Appalachians" it was assuredly a lie. No one calls hiking the AT "in the Appalachians". It's not a mountain range, it's a trail. I really doubt BL has anywhere near the skills required to survive a winter on the AT, especially is he is moving north east which he most likely would be if he went there from FL.

And the weather will be getting colder, the leaves will soon be off the trees and freezing rain & snow will fall. I've lived along the AT all my life. There will soon be much fewer people but info on him has been well circulated through the outdoor community. There will also soon be lots of hunters out in the woods the next few months as the various seasonal hunts begin & end.

There will always be people in the woods!

I also seriously question how much actual experience BL has in cold weather camping or, honestly, camping at all without a vehicle.

He's from Long Island! There are no mountains there. All the "camping" I've seen him do is his car camping in major tourist areas. I've never even seen them do a difficult or unpopular trail or even hikes in bad weather conditions.

IMO, BT is more of a "poser" and the principled ideals he mouths are purely aspirational. Now he may see himself that way. But that won't help him on Mt Washington in the winter. I don't think he has nearly the skills to survive on his own and certainly not without purchasing or being supplied with food, socks, warm clothes etc.

Agree with this assessment. BL’s inflated opinion of his artwork on Instagram, boasting in a posting of how he has not had any formal education in it, indicates a skewed view of his own abilities. IMO

So does this mean he did not want her to drive farther into the campground in case she might see what happened, b/c it was still daylight?

More like he knew GP wouldn't be there to greet them and the place would look deserted

So, while Brian was out there solo hiking and socializing, the boogieman was murdering Gabby. I assume that's the story that he will try to peddle. Probably will try to suggest it's the same guy that murdered the married couple. Hmm. imo.
All his behavior after the fact will effectively shoot any defense in the foot. So I look forward to that, that is, if he's found alive.

They already had an attorney the first time LE knocked on their door, they handed them the card. I’m not sure how they would’ve known Gabby‘s mother had reported her missing since they were not communicating with her. I think they were prepared for that knock which begs the question why did they already think they needed an atty.
I figured they secured the attorney when the incident involving her parents and law enforcement happened (though that has a tight lid on it), but since we aren't positive what that was about, certainly when Gabby was reported missing. I wondered if the calls to the family that went unanswered were before or after the "incident". Maybe someone here knows more. No idea if they had one prior to around the 10th. MOO

If you choose to not enter a PIN it will require a signature

don't most people have tap there? especially younger generations?
as long as they don't exceed a certain amount, they just tap - no pin, no signature - or do they not have that tech in the states?

We know the one-and-only he cares for, and it never was Gabby.*

* Nor was it mom or dad, btw.

I would bet his parents have had better days.

Is there anywhere to check this, might need to refresh my memory about the early stuff as I was not aware they told LE to speak to their lawyer the first time they went knocking.

What? The Appalachians are most certainly a mountain range. I live in the middle of them!
"Appalachia is a cultural region in the Eastern United States that stretches from the Southern Tier of New York State to northern Alabama and Georgia".

Quote: In surreal scenes, undercover agents - believed to be the FBI - followed the Laundries inside and hovered in the aisles as they kept their eyes on them.

Wow!

Yep. IMO, the Feds are treating the parents as suspects.

Maybe to wire a few shillings to their boy or speak to him or meet him in person.. he'd be disguised and they would all hug and a wad and plane tickets passed over.. list is endless.. joking
They could communicate with him and it would be difficult to trace the email back to them, 'cos it would be a public computer.

I’m shocked by how many people are willing to give a stranger a ride. MOO

Credit cards don't use PINS generally speaking.

And many places don't require a pin for a debit purchase either.

Exactly. How do we know what types of cards got used? It is in the indictment?

I'm sorry, I thought someone asked if he checked himself or his parents checked him into a hospital while he's "missing" or "wanted", which he is, if the hospital would tell law enforcement. I'm still pretty sure the answer is yes because HIPAA allows a hospital on its own initiative to disclose protected health information to law enforcement as necessary for law enforcement to *identify* or *apprehend* an individual who has escaped from a correctional institution or from lawful custody.
Here in Las Vegas we have popular people (stars, actors, singers) to where the doctor will admit them under a false name.... I believe the facilities are made aware of the true name as well... my point being if this is found to true and be is in a facility under a fake name , LE would still be able to get a true identity of that person.
