Not much, but any photo of her in a parking lot would tell LE another time when she was alive.
Given the current known sightings I would say either the 28th or the 29th were her last. Gabby was seen on the 27th and BL left on the 29th. Small window to have killed her in. I just hope she didn't lay there and suffer for hours or days.

Maybe the family just didn't / doesn't care about Gabby. It's a strange world full of strange people. MOO

I doubt it’s that they didn’t care about her. Much more likely, IMO, that they knew immediately that BL killed or seriously harmed her, and shut all communication about Gabby down right away, to protect their son. Still horrible, but I guess they figured once she was dead, they couldn’t help her. However, even if they adored her, they love their son more.

Geez, not me. I’ll roll on anyone who intentionally harms another person. If you victimize someone, you aren’t worthy of my help and I wouldn’t want you around me so keeping you out of prison is of no interest to me. If you accidentally hurt someone, come clean and face the consequences. I’m not throwing my life away to help someone else though. Not even my own daughter. I’m way too little to cut it in prison.

Well, no judgement. As I said with few exceptions.

Total card purchases and withdrawals are limited to $5,000 per day. This includes ATM withdrawals, cash advances, and signature and PIN-based purchases. Withdrawals from an ATM made using a 360 Checking Card are limited to $1,000 per day. You can lower this limit by calling us at 1-888-464-0727.

I wonder if her account was shared with Mom or Dad - if it was, and they had online access, they could have looked up her transactions to see where she was - I had an authorized card that was used in Europe and I set up text notifications every time a charge was made so I could keep track - it would be the first thing I would check if I lost contact with a family member.

Finally, the credit card fraud warrant confuses me; I have tried to help victims of abuse escape through means like this where they would want to report their debit cards stolen and banks were never willing to listen to fraud charges because they claimed that the account holder provided the info so allowed the user to take the card with the pin; I had assumed BL was using GP's card and thought it was brilliant the FBI made the connection in order to secure some type of warrant, but could it have been someone else's card entirely? Maybe someone GP had a joint account with and they reported it as fraud? And if they needed to issue a warrant based on something unrelated, does this mean there was not enough evidence to link him to the homicide?
Again all purely my speculation/opinion. I have so many more thoughts just based on my career field but I know some topics are off limit so I will leave it here. I do hope that there are answers found soon though.

Sorry for the 3 posts, I kept getting a warning that my long post was considered spam so I had to break it down.

This sad case has been such a mess from the get-go, it wouldn’t surprise me if BL turned up at the visitation/funeral and that’s how this all ends. MOO.
Have to say this occurred to me as well. I doubt this will be the case, but wouldn't surprise me.

Read the Chuck Palahniuk books and you will see why he would keep a corpse around!

disgusting and disturbing to say the least

Referring to the novel HAUNTED?

Still cold hearted people either way you lean on that. How could one not speak about what happened to someone they supposedly loved

Does anyone else read these threads backwards? This case is so frustrating and now our friend #HeyJB is acting cryptic. Or maybe it’s the lack of sleep on his part. IMO. #JusticeForGabby (twinmom2011).

Random thought that is probably totally off base--

Did they maintain the separation after they left Moab? Maybe they decided they had to get this worked out, and they decided she'd stay in the hotel and work on the social media while he'd park the van somewhere he could hike? She definitely wouldn't want to tell her family about that.
That is a very good possibility. Only way to know if he went to FL or IF someone went to UT to help him do whatever to Gabby

Gabby’s parents did not start actively looking for her for a while. If you look at the timeline, it was about 2weeks since anyone face timed her and it was in retrospect that the last texts were reported as off. Why would they be suspicious? She was with a dear one. Loved with him for 2 years. Was engaged to marry him. Knew the family. They were going to remote locations that everyone knew could be off the web. So it took a while before they got concerned enough to really try to reach her, BL, any friends, the Laundries, and finally the authorities. I hurt just thinking how that profession of fear must have mounted.

It is entirely possible that BL’s parents did not know any more than their son came back alone prematurely from trip. Standard response to parents often is “Don’t want to talk about it”. They may have thought there was a break up where Gabby went back to her parents or with friends. Really, it would not have occurred to most parents that their adult child just ditched a loved one in the wilderness. Laundries may not have known who actually owned the van. BLand GP apparent pooled resources and shared everything so whose names on what may well have not been regarded or even known. Neighbors publicly reported that BL and parents activities were normal.

But clearly, at some point, parents knew something was not right because they called an attorney. Don’t know when or what did it. My guess is that the messages from Gabby’s parents were the trigger.

I don't understand how they could have met with their attorney at the library without media seeing it.
They went to the library first and then the lawyer's office.

I think they were
1) killing time while the law office was cleared out, maybe they were early for their appointment (Traffic between North Port and Orlando could be 2 1/2 hours or 4 or more depending on how many crashes. I-4 is frequently a NIGHTMARE)
or
2) seeing how tight the tail on them was. (Let's see how many people follow us in here)
But they weren't in the library to "Go to the library"
IMO

Good Morning all,
Thanks to the mods for all their hard work.

I have 4 questions.
1. Does anyone have recall that very early in the WS thread there was mention that the parents of BL went to his car to take it so it would make BL have to call for ride? This was before there was any info about the citation on his car. I am just wondering whether I read a hypothesis or it was factual.

2. The lawyer was first hired for BL.. .. not the family is that correct? Because i did come across a statement that BL made via his lawyer about "Ms. Petitio" but as far as i can see that is all the talking he did.

3. I noticed when searchers are in the big swamp buggy/plower they look to me to be not armed, look very chill.. does this discourage anyone from thinking he is actually in there alive or armed? In fact no one on scene looks very much like they feel there is danger present.

4. Regarding the deer cam, I use a deer cam to track feral cats, have they placed cameras in the reserve or is there another means to track night movement?

Again, thanks for the hard work. Hoping today there will be answers..
Good questions.
