You don't need a lifestraw even if he's in FL or southern GA or similar areas. (though I would think he would have one)
Vitis tiliifolia grows wild everywhere not to mention the amounts of rain these areas get. Many many fruits grow wild that are primarily water. Plant transpiration is abundant. You can dig a still . Food is literally ALL over in FL. Fish, bugs, plants, nuts, berries.
Everyone in here going on and on about Lifestraws and Mountain food.
You don't have to pack anything - you just have to know what you're doing.

As someone who once thought this about drinking rainwater and had the whopping case of giardia to prove it, respectfully, you are wrong on that point.

Is it possible that BL is in the Appalachian Mountains?

IMO thats just a sunburn because she sits on the right of the van. her right side is always darker than her left side.

I wondered about this too, as Gabby sits at the right side where the sun comes through the window.
If BL had grabbed her whilst in the van, it would more likely be her left arm as that would be closest to him? MOO

Same for me. When I first heard he was involved I thought it was a joke, however, I saw him on YT also and I found him likeable, reasonable and sincere. I think he truly wants to help. He is in the business of fugitives, so who knows?

I used to be really cynical about this stuff but he is rich, gets paid royalties for his show, and doesn't exactly need exposure. It sounds to me like he's just trying to help.

The caller said the gentleman was slapping a girl. RL is no gentleman. Are we sure they even found the right couple?
That caller gave them the number plate and that is why they caught up with them out of town.

We've had the 911 call and incident reports which states he was slapping/hitting her outside of the van. Pushed and shoved her outside of the van. No reason to believe he only had access to the left side of her body.

I think the FBI were holding off on the debit card charges even though they knew about it early on because they were waiting to see if he would use it again and then make it easier for them to pinpoint his location and catch him. but since he didn't, they charged him on Wednesday 8/22.

MREs are available for purchase and require no heat. They have a thing inside to heat them.

Eta: one person mentioned in an interview that he bragged about being able to get by on the AT with basically no food.

SOS, Datrex and Mayday bars would be my go-to option if you are really looking for survival food. If you had 3 lbs of these (15,000 calories) and the wilderness you could survive for well over a month IMO

I didn’t listen to it so just going solely off the transcript, could she have been starting to say a different word? Issued.. assisted? Something that starts with in “is” sound.

Thanks. So far, I can't find the whole thing. I'm starting to think they posted a transcript and then just used highlights for the video segment. Is could be an "Is" sounding word. That's true.

I think that is the point, not many people believe BL has that knowledge and instead would have to rely on what is in his backpack.

Not while in the van, but when he was slapping her and they were running on the sidewalk. Catch her by the arm and slap her.

Given the "family camping trip", who knows? If he's in the wild at all it's somewhere more temperate like that and not that Florida swamp, IMO.

But the above quote applies when hunting bail jumpers. BL hasn't jumped bail. There's a difference. The above link from the blog goes on to explain jumping bail violates a contract between the jumper and the bondsman. That's why a residence can be entered. That doesn't seem to apply here but I'm not an attorney.
JMO

gotcha, makes sense.

Have you all seen the body cam footage of Brian being dropped off at the motel the day they fought? Not sure I can post link b/c it’s The Sun. I just happened to come across it. He just seems almost giddy in it, it’s very strange IMO.

giddy? Duper's delight?

After reading that, I'm thinking the charges don't just involve a credit card, but may also related to fraudulently using GP's cell phone? That would cover the Aug 30 cell call regarding Yosemite?
How does the Aug 30 text fall into the U.S. code that BL is charged with?
(2)
knowingly and with intent to defraud traffics in or uses one or more unauthorized access devices during any one-year period, and by such conduct obtains anything of value aggregating $1,000 or more during that period;

18 U.S. Code § 1029 - Fraud and related activity in connection with access devices

It's getting into the 30s at night along the northern Appalachian Trail so he's going to be really cold really soon if he makes it north. Foliage is already turning.

Perhaps, to prevent this from becoming more of a circus than it already is.

I don't know about that, but I'd be really interested if someone knew or could tell me under what code police provide these types of services to the public.
