possibility they find him the day of gabby's memorial? also not sure why the body hasn't been released yet....
May want to be ready to cremate ALL organs with rest of body to return to her parents. May still need to hold on to everything until all tests are completed and analyzed. Just my guess. JMO

@NCWatcher quote from previous thread snipped by me.
"I also agree it's possible different dispatchers took the calls and didn't realize the witness accounts were different. Better procedures may be needed re: dispatch reporting."

Audio clip of dispatcher to officers.

"RP states a male hit a female. Domestic. He got into a white ford transit van. Has a black ladder on the back Florida plate....."
Yes, the other account was not a call. It was a written statement made *after the stop*. We do not know if the statement was prompted with a neutral question, "tell us what happened," or if it was prompted by something more leading, like "did you see GP punch BL? Tell us the story from the beginning." There are reams and reams of papers on how much the question influences eyewitness accounts. A spontaneous contemporaneous report to 911 is by nature more reliable because it is not filtered through memory nor is it prompted by questions.

The questions matter a lot. See, for example, Elizabeth Loftus' famous studies about eyewitness accounts of an accident. If asked how fast the cars were going when they "collided" you get very different answers than if you ask how fast they were going when they "smashed into" one another.

3 minutes? what gets accomplished in three minutes? Maybe the FBI just walked in, said "we found your son" then just turned around walked out the door. I'm thinking three minutes is not that long.
The FBI probably contacted them by phone first. JMO

This makes sense, except I thought their lawyer was there. Why would he be there if the visit was unannounced? Does he live there? ;)
Also, would this be the lawyer who flew into Orlando from somewhere up north? Is he still in the area?

Maybe media folks such as Brian Entin, who will report soon, can clear some of this up...

JMO

So far the lawyer has just been texting with reporters so I don't think he's in the house.

But even if people are represented by counsel, the FBI does not have to contact their lawyer to execute a search warrant. They can just show up and start taking things. If you have a good working relationship with the FBI agents and the AUSA handling your case they may give you the courtesy of informing you of their plans but they have no duty to. They just can't question your clients once they request their lawyer.

Here is that information on Brian's two skateboards that members were discussing yesterday:
This ‘Van-Life’ Couple Went on a Cross-Country Trip Out West. Only He Came Back.

"Jaye Foster, an Alabaman who is traveling the U.S. in his own customized Volkswagen bus, met Gabby and Laundrie near Moab, Utah, on Aug. 10.... When Laundrie asked Foster if he’d like to have a skateboard he no longer needed, Foster eagerly accepted. “He said, ‘Here, I’m not gonna be needing two of these,’” Foster recalled, adding that Gabby and Laundrie said they were headed to Yellowstone next." The FBI entered the Laundrie house for 3 minutes. According to their attorney: The FBI requested some personal items belonging to Brian Laundrie to assist them with DNA matching and Brian’s parents provided the FBI with what they could.

To be fair I do think that's a bit of a stretch. Rightly or wrongly in this type of situation I think many would think of the male as the aggressor. The officer would have to have extreme bias towards women to suggest and lead a witness this way.

The witness was very clear and precise with his version of events. Plus, Gabby and Brian said pretty much the same when they were pulled over.

From the little we know about Brian I'm going with he would try and stay alive and on the run until either he can't physically carry on or the FBI hone in on him.

At which point he will try his best to go in such a way it would be difficult to find him. Only one thing would be worse for him and that would be ending up in the prison system.

N6042Z has been flying some interesting circles over Big Slough
N6042Z Flight Tracking and History - FlightAware
This probably is a spurious connection, but would that be anywhere near the intersection of Delmar Drive and Balboa Terrace, where on Sept 18th there apparently was some sort of incident associated with the Petito/Laundrie families?

ETA: Even if that's the same slough, but it looks like it's considerably north of that intersection, perhaps on the other side of the reserve (or some reserve -- not sure).

This is why you have to take alligators seriously. Yes, they are naturally afraid of humans, BUT -- you never know when the one swimming past you or the one you're about to step on because you can't see has been fed by humans and lost that fear, or is guarding a nest, or whatever that might make them lash out. It's very dangerous and minimizing the risk of spending weeks or "months" out there because they're supposed to be more scared of you than you are of them, it's irresponsible. IMO, MOO, etc.

Any just read FBI went to BL's house to get some personal items. Fox news can't post link for some reason. Fox news.

FBI agents visit Laundrie home, asked for personal items to help with 'DNA matching'
Two FBI agents briefly visited Brian Laundrie's family's home in North Port, Fla. on Sunday morning to ask for help with "DNA matching."

"The FBI requested some personal items belonging to Brian Laundrie to assist them with DNA matching and Brian’s parents provided the FBI with what they could," the Laundries' lawyer, Steven Bertolino, told Fox News on Sunday.

The agents walked into the front porch around 11:00 a.m. and left with a brown paper bag.

Sunday's visit comes almost a week after roughly 20 FBI agents swarmed the Laundrie home and could be seen carrying boxes and suitcases
