When I see it mentioned that it was wrong for the LE that pulled them over to act chummy with BL during the stop, it clearly shows a lack of understanding of interrogation and investigations. It is the best method to get him to show his hand, so to speak. Tell false stories of dealing with women, become relatable, let him relax and say "yeah, I did slap her, you get it."

If that were the case they wouldn't most likely be facing disciplinary action. Obviously they didn't use approved investigative or interrogation techniques.

I don’t follow what difference it makes to identify the specific object. It was DNA related, right? Beyond that, what is the importance of what exactly carried the DNA?

I am not experienced at dispatch recordings at all. I know someone on here said they were former dispatch the other night. If you are reading, please correct me.

I wanted to get a transcription of the entire dispatch recording on here. Well, we don't know if it is the entire call but it is what was released on the article today. Here is my transcription. There are a few things I am unsure of, the numbers at the end specifically.

Gabby Petito case: Dispatch recordings show Utah police were told male struck female

Male Dispatcher - 1053 Attempt to locate. Continuing attempt to locate time-lapse of about probably 40 sec. RP states a male hit a female. Domestic. He got into a white Ford transit van. Has a black ladder on the back, Florida plate of Quebec fox tango golf zero three. The van turned right onto main street from Moonflower Market and headed north onto Main Street. 1638.

Responding officer - (unintelligible maybe 228) I am at Moonflower.

Female voice - (dispatcher?) 1641

Responding officer - uh 228? , Do have a phone number for the RP, maybe just a landline, and a location where our victim is at.

Male Dispatcher -Uh, phone number is (redacted) names (redacted) I am not sure (break) that, but the female who got hit, they both, the male and the female, both got into the van and headed north.

I don't know all of the police codes in Utah (or that district), but I'm pretty sure that the "1638" and "1641" at the end of those dispatches are for the time of day: 1638=4:38 p.m. and 1641=4:41 p.m.
Some of the others could be the officers' ID numbers?

I've found another image on MSM showing the item that was removed from the house from a totally different angle. It rules out pump bottle and sponge IMO as the shape now resembles something else!

I would think that a huge fight would be heard.
I just don't feel consistency in any of this.

What I thought was also interesting is that Brian was not even fined for speeding. He was going 45mph in a 15mph zone. Then he got a free night in an hotel as well! I live in Australia and he would not have got away with that here.

He also crossed over a double yellow line and swerved onto the curb. Although that was reportedly from Gabby hitting his arm, she had nothing to do with him speeding off after they got into the van.

She was no longer the little girl he first met that hung on his every word. His inability to accept her as an equal drove his insecurities until he knew she had surpassed him in lightening speed. An argument pursued. She would NOT back down this time. He went at her throat in a rage, they stumbled onto the ground where he strangled her to death with her fighting him until the very end.

I agree. It's what is in my mind right now that is. I keep hoping she was able to scratch him leaving evidence under her fingernails.

I believe the gist of her story, but I can live without the tic tok drama. She did not know what the altercation was about...............only that he was really obnoxious to the hostess and that Gabby was crying and apologized for him. JMO
