Interesting...wondering why the Laundrie attorney would release this information....

Is Cassie about to be implicated in something too now? Sad part is, she's got kids and those kids seemingly loved Gabby if I'm going based off Gabby's postcards to them.

If the sister was indeed at the campsite and saw BL but later lied about seeing him at the campsite, why lie? Unless it's because she didn't want anyone to know he was at the campsite. Why? Maybe because it was possible he was still there at that point?
I don't think he's there anymore if he was. He's dead or on the move.

A video I have seen states that Gabby had a conversation with her Mom on August 25, and her Mom said they had discussed Gabby and Brian's deteriorating relationship. So, it looks like Gabby was on the phone with her on the 12th during the cop stop, and then on the 25th, had a conversation with her Mom about the bad situation she was finding herself in. It seems odd that Gabby's Dad spoke with her on several occasions while she was in a hotel room and Brian was supposedly in Florida, and nothing was mentioneded to him about their problems. Maybe they weren't that close.
I didn’t see this. Mom actually quoted as saying relationship with BL was deteriorating? But she didn’t tell Gabby’s dad? Becauseit was after they both determined she was missing, that Dad said outright on Dr Phil show that he had no inkling that there were problems.

It seems he just threw her under the bus, so to speak. I wonder if he's trying to "help" his clients, the parents, in some way.

Punishment for talking to the media comes to mind.

MOO.

NORTH PORT, Fla. (NewsNation Now) — Brian Laundrie’s sister, Cassie Laundrie, may have seen her brother in the days following his return to Florida with Gabby Petito, despite her previous comments.

Cassie Laundrie said last month she had not spoken to her brother since he returned to Florida without Petito on Sept. 1.

“I haven’t been able to talk to him,” Laundrie told ABC News last month. “I wish I could talk to him.”

However, NewsNationNow.com reporter Brian Entin exclusively confirmed that Cassie Laundrie may have been at the Fort De Soto campground at the same time the rest of the family in early September.

“To my knowledge, Cassie went for a day,” Laundrie family attorney Steven Bertolino confirmed to Entin.

When Bertolino was asked whether Cassie Laundrie was at the campground at the same time as her brother, he responded, “idk” meaning “I don’t know.”

“idk” — ‘professional attorney’ Steve Bertolino

Easy to say. An attorney making a phone call could upend that.

I perceived Sheriff Grady's comments as that they would have questioned him because he had the van. And/or that they would've been watching to make sure he didn't escape the house unnoticed.

Like this. Why would you say this? Why would you "confirm" facts to the press - who have no right or need to know? Oh, I know: to keep YOUR name out there. To have people continue to talk about YOU.

Paying someone $1 for repeated bad advice in a state where he's not authorized to practice law in a field in which he has no experience is a worse deal than paying a competent local attorney for advice.

Not every lawyer requires a $25,000 retainer. You can pay someone $400 for an hour of their time and get competent advice. I really don't understand this obsession with defending the objectively bad decision to have your friend LARP as a criminal defense lawyer when your son is being sought by the feds.

Obsession?? What??
Was he being sought by the Feds when they hired him??

NEW: “To my knowledge Cassie went for a day.”
Laundrie family attorney says Brian’s sister Cassie was at the campground last month – despite Cassie saying in an earlier interview she hasn’t spoken to Brian since he returned to Florida.

This guy is the gift that keeps on giving - unbelievable IMO.
If we had a date, I could add it to the timeline....

She either lied which was very stupid of her. Or she dropped by but did not see or speak to BL

Maybe the Laundries don't want to follow a lawyer's advice. Maybe they're driving the show and he's willing to do what they want in a way that another lawyer wouldn't.

No. But given circumstances, very high likelihood he would soon be

Brian admitting to taking the keys to her van to try and force her to take a walk and cool off is a huge red flag and indicator of DV, even aside from the physical altercation. On top of that, witnesses stated Brian was hitting her before she had to climb through the window of her own vehicle because he wouldn’t let her in—the red flags for DV were up and flying high during the Moab incident, IMO.

Regardless of the fact that she was the registered owner, the vehicle from all indications were shared. I do not think that someone saying lets take a break and cool off is a red flag for DV. Ill leave it at that.

Oh boy, things are not looking good for the Laundries. They never looked good to begin with, but if this is confirmed, it casts even more doubt on everything the Laundries have told LE thus far, MOO.

After reading the article it doesn’t really confirm or deny anything. Media puts their voice in is what I got out of it.

And I forgot to mention our brackish waters through out the state. For those not familiar, it’s a combo of fresh & salt waters.

Florida sounds wild.

*I hadn’t watched the vid until now and I can’t get any further into it. I’m only halfway through. I hurt my finger pushing the stop button. It wouldn’t shut off and I couldn’t get it to shut up! I didn’t want to hear it anymore. She has grabbed my heart and she won’t let go. I hurt for her so bad. She is trying so very very hard to stay herself, the sweet good girl that she was. Oh, I hurt so 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 bad for Gabby and her parents and grandparents. All their hopes and dreams they had for their precious baby girl Gabrielle. She was to continue their generation long after their gone. Now their family tree stands tall with a stunted branch.

In NC here, and very confused. IMOO, grandparents live in Cary, NC, which is roughly a three-hour drive to Boone, NC and the AT. New Bern, NC is on the opposite side of the state, on the Neuse River off the coast.
Exactly. There are two things here, apparently. (1) a tip in New Bern, NC to a relative's house that did not pan out and (2) a tip from campers along the AT in Tennessee that a new group of bounty hunters is following.
