Gabby was probably concerned about possibly being stuck cross country all by herself if she told the truth during the traffic stop.
Maybe she was planning on ending the trip together (because of his violence toward her) when she met up with her friend on the 29th and that’s why she wasn’t able to make that appointment.
Per the second video, Brian was ok with it..... in fact after LE told them to separate is when I saw her the most upset:

Not sure why people are still trying to determine why BL flew back to florida on or around the 17th.

There is no proof that I can find that he flew home. none.

GP's mother and uncle may have believed that to be true, but there is no evidence that he flew home.

It is pure hearsay, and in my own humble opinion this "factoid" should be reevaluated and taken off of the websleuths timeline.

You are correct. WE don’t know for sure but LE could easily check that. Not only are we arguing about whether he even went home , we are arguing about what he might have been doing or not doing during that time period when we do not know for sure. All we know is that Gabby was at the airport Fairfield inn for that time period.

of course. Was always the case. They have to get the evidence, however, and not going to be easy to do at all
IIRC, yes, they could always be charged federally, but they cannot be charged under Florida State Law. At least that was the case last time I checked. But with this case…that could have changed the next second lol but last time I checked…yes for federal but not state.

IMO…I wonder if gabby parents didn’t want her moving in with BL and his parents. Been there don’t that with my DD. The guy was so mental, I begged the parents to not allow it that he would kill her or harm her badly. Many instances of abuse against my daughter. They totally ignored my pleas and supported the son. The parents and my husband and I had a very bad relationship. I wonder it BLs and gabby parents had the same dynamics. My daughters boyfriend died in a drunken motorcycle accident. I cheered when I got the news. Just thinking out loud and all that.

Dad seemed to indicate otherwise In Dr Phil interview

Like I said. I think they were running g out of money !
Maybe taking storage out of the equation helped.a.little!
Staying in a hotel not so.much unless dad.paid for it!
I don't think they realized how pricey it was going to be a d maybe had not saved up enough to last!

Did they intend on going back to North Port or living on the road?
If they were out of money, Whose Capitol One Debit Card was stolen? Dads?

We have no idea what BL had to do or did those days. When he made plans for the trip etc. Maybe we’ll find out. Maybe not. LE might feel it is totally irrelevant to case in which case we likely will never find out.
In the alternative, it may be VERY relevant which is why we know so little about it. Doesn't hurt to speculate, however. It could be cleared up quickly, if through their lawyer, they choose to do so. Or better yet, tell the truth publicly, if there is nothing to hide. jmo

It is a legit fear. Fear of the unknown and strangers. It's dangerous for a single female to travel, camp alone. Probably felt safer with The Devil she knew vs the unknown.

Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie got matching finger tattoos to represent their love | Daily Mail Online

EXCLUSIVE: Tattoo artist reveals Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie got matching finger tattoos of vines to 'represent their love' and gushed about plans for a 'big road trip together' a year before their ill-fated adventure
  • Tattoo artist Danny Nostrom owns a business in Venice, Florida and tells DailyMail.com that Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie got matching tattoos
  • 'Gabby and Brian came in super excited about getting new tattoos,' Nostrom said about the encounter on October 8, 2020
  • 'They wanted a couple of vines around each one of their fingers to represent their love and the fact they were planning this big trip together,' he said
  • Nostrom said Gabby was 'super excited' for the tattoos and that their demeanor that day gave no hint of the devastation to follow
  • He said Laundrie 'was a little more standoffish, but we had a nice conversation. He wasn't totally socially awkward or anything. He was just a little more quiet'
  • Laundrie and Gabby also told the tattoo artist they were huge fans of documentary true crime TV series Forensic Files
  • DailyMail.com obtained photos of their tattoos, and even sketches of a ghost on a skateboard that Gabby drew and then had inked on her

Are your persona

Are you using personal examples that you've witnessed or actually known these people raising these children and hearing their struggles? They've been manipulated too. Their perception of reality is distorted and they've often been gaslit to the point that they don't trust their own instincts. Following professional advice feels safe to them and the attorneys themselves reinforce that idea.

Long story short, pointing fingers at the L's only takes the spotlight off BL.

I can see what @BellaVita is saying. I don't think we have any proof that the parents were manipulated. For all we know we could come to learn that they were advised on August 30th and provided advice and lined up counsel in advance of his return. We just do not know. MOO

At this stage of the investigation the actions of BL and the Laundrie family are inextricably intertwined IMO. Everything from 9/1/2021 forward, perhaps even 8/27/2021 forward, necessarily requires an assessment and investigation of the actions taken by each of them. MOO

MOO, I thought that initially. Was horrified.

After reading the details on the case, not so sure. I think many parents would have done the same under certain scenarios that the Laundries might have faced. We do not know. This far, there have been no lies. They have not said much but what they have released from attorney has not been proven lies. In fact, LE is taking them at their word in a lot of this, knowing that a lawyer would not out and out lie in such cases.
Their lawyer has been caught lying, and I can only assume their lawyer tells the press and LE whatever the Laundries tell him (i.e. the Mustang and which day it returned to the house).
Cassie (the sister) has also been caught lying to the press. “I haven’t been able to talk to him.” But yet, she did at the campground.

They did not return phone calls/texts to GP’s family when she was missing.
They won’t cooperate with LE.
They won’t return GP’s things to her family.

They have been awful since day one. I believe they are loyal to each other, regardless of the fact that a murder happened at the hands of their kid, and that is wrong.

MOO.

Laundrie Search Update: The search area is deeper at Carlton Reserve toward Myakka River State Park with an airboat and K-9 unit, although much smaller than what we saw last month from @8_plamison. #GabbyPetito #BrianLaundrie #HeyJB

Instagram Influencers get paid by advertisers and product placement. A goof Influencer can easily make 5k a month-1 million a year. Take a look at YouTube /Instagram Influencers, There's big money to be made in it. I have many friends who vlog/ for a living. None of them are poor. They get paid to travel, eat, all clothes donated to them. It's a lucrative career.

Yes, and it indeed work. You can work your hiney off though and still not get rich however, it's a saturated market. Some of the success is pure luck and outside synergy and promotion.

Thank you for posting this. Some people will never understand how much work goes into creating anything.
And to make a point - All work is a hobby until you get paid. Lots of work happens before a product is even launched.
IMO the luckiest people in the world are those who succeed in turning their "hobby" into a "living". Wanting to go to "work" every day, and no time cards or bosses. Takes gumption, which Gabby had a lot of.

Maybe they’re concerned that his attorney could have him bailed out on the bank fraud charge?

Per the court filings, there is no official attorney on the bank fraud case for Brian Laundrie.

His parents have shown the world who they are, and they are NOT honest, do good people. MOO

I can see saying they are heartless or stone cold, both are judgement calls by a viewer, but what proof is there that they have lied about anything.

I’ve been in her situation. My SUV, stuck with someone that turned scary until I could get back close to home. Just one state out but I can imagine how she would feel so faraway from Florida. Maybe she told BL the trip was ending at Yellowstone after he went nuts at the restaurant.

There are tons of cases where LE knows exactly where someone is and waits to actually charge them with murder while they build their case. Days, weeks, months and year+...Happens frequently

The idea they know where he is while allocating millions of dollars as well as thousands of hours in manpower is asinine in my opinion.
