That is most definitely what it sounds like to me as well. Hopefully, the red letter of the law will not see it that way and his statement (like most of his) will all be for naught.
Even if they shared expenses, one would think you’d still have to give permission. So once she was dead and he used her card without her permission.. still fraud. IMO

That's their story and they are sticking to it. Until new facts are presented to them that is. Then that will change.

Moo.
The dates are consistent to the ones Gabby's mom gave early on. I think it really happened, although we don't know the real reason for the return home.

If Gabby didn't tell her parents, I'm wondering why. If they were planning to extend the trip I think she would have said so.

Either they broke up and he went back because they got back together, or he went back with other intentions.

IMO

He is getting hooked on the media attention he is receiving, imho. But that is fine with me because lies are being exposed. Jmo
Where's his attorney to advise him to stop talking?

IMO, at this point in time, I think the timeline should be color coded.

Black = Fact (ie. Per LE)
Red = "According to" RL, CL & their Atty, SB.
Blue = From verified WS source.

Should we include “strike through” for the red text? ;)

Notice how BL's attorney said they "shared expenses"? That's to try to get BL out of the CC fraud charge.

Good luck with that, Buddy!

HOW DO YOU FORGET THE DAY YOUR SON GOES MISSING? Also, was the date ever confirmed of 9/14 from video in the AT&T store? How can he leave a burner phone at home on 9/14 when he goes missing on 9/13?
Easy answer.. Because he's not missing to them. They know where he is and probably are keeping in touch JMO

It would be interesting to know whether he wiped the account out clean. If so, that would prove (IMO) that he knew she was dead and would not be trying to access the $$$.

Question, too, is why it took until 10/5 to make the correction. We here in the public had seen footage from 9/15 of that car at their home. Surely someone in the L household or advisor/s had seen that before today. I understand the need to verify before speaking (or to correct what you previously stated incorrectly), but I keep coming back to SB and his handling of this situation as an attorney. Texting to reporters, letting incorrect information he previously provided hang out there uncorrected for weeks....

If I were his client, I would be LIVID.

ONLY reason I can think of is this is what the Parents are feeding the attorney, and he doesn't make a correction until they tell him something different? Or he's in way over his head. Or BOTH!

I can think of nothing legal as a reason. He is losing it. It’s all been a big 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬-show from the get-go, a huge exercise in CYA. And it’s failed.
It has been relentlessly shiteshowy, and I expect, with not a little grim anticipation , a lot more of this slow drip 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 to fall down hourly, now that the whole ridiculous 'Brian missing' story is unravelling.

They could tell her that, but they are not speaking to her.
Yes, IMO. this poor girl got duped, and is now isolated without support, and i feel badly for her crappy life right now. (don't shred me folks). If i were Cassie, I'd find a remote airbnb, actually 2 of them, (one for a back up) and ask LE for an escort, make plans to home school my kids, take a medical leave of absence for stress, and not say another word. As I believe she was played from the beginning.
IMO I don't think it's that odd that her kids didn't ask about GP, and her kids should be left out of this disaster.

Yes! Shared expenses mean the sharing happens when both are alive to, well, share. JMHO/MOO.

Exactly! I never thought he would go far from Mommy. Jmo

IMO, Cassie is still suspicious. I want to be compassionate towards her situation (although I do feel sad for her children) but there are several inconsistencies from her interview with the protestors yesterday.
In a previous long post that I posted last night I listed some of the contradictions in the statements by Cassie and her husband Jimmy, but unfortunately it got lost with the server update :( and I'm too tired to type it all up again so I'll just list one problem.
The main concern is, how did Cassie not even once ask "Where is Gabby?" or how did her children never ask about Gabby when they went to Fort de Soto on the 6th from 2PM to 8PM?
I don't believe at all that Cassie, Jimmy, or their children never asked about Gabby on Sept 1st or Sept 6th.
I had the same question… unless the parents told them something like, “We think they’re having issues and Brian is trying to hold it together, so best not bring her up.”

I'm so confused. The 13th was a Friday the 14th a Saturday. How could they not look at their phones for texts, a calendar, etc for that day in question and work backwards like most people do when they are unsure. I actually also don't even see the point of the parents clarifying this. Can someone help me to understand their intentions with changing the date?
LE probably found evidence that he left on the 13th, so the attorney is claiming it was just a mistake. Imo

If he spoke to BL on the 14th and BL was last seen on the 13th AND left his phone and wallet behind, then how did they communicate?
Wait a few days.......................maybe he will correct that. jmo

  • #397
Thank you, that made no sense until now! I think if BL has a vehicle, this is when he was given one. Exchange the Mustang for another vehicle. He is too spoiled and soft to be on foot, IMHO. Just my speculation. Jmo
In said this also!
He drove the Mustang to the preserve and there was another vehicle there!
Henwas.never.in the preserve!

Just so my brain doesn’t explode from this man’s many confirmations, can someone with a law background please explain to me why on earth he is confirming anything?! What if an attorney wants to present alternate scenarios in court and this guy has already confirmed everything? Is he trying to make it so BL can’t get a fair trial? I know they’re fairly benign “texts” but the absurdity of an attorney confirming anything without a really good reason has been occupying my brain as I’ve read his continued “clarifications” today.

JMO.

I have thought that for sure this (albeit inexperienced in criminal) lawyer knows that these texts with media could hurt his clients case if he goes to trial for murder. But then, I thought what if he knows Brian is deceased (or strongly believes this) then perhaps he believes there will never be a trial to be jeopardized??

Not sure... remember reading the phone was bought on 9/4 at Walmart and was activated on 9/14 at AT&T store with Brian and older woman but NO clue where I saw this.

In a quick search, this is the best article I could come up with regarding the misstatements/confusion regarding the phone...
Lawyer Says FBI Has Brian Laundrie’s Regular Phone, Not a Burner Phone: Report

I'm sticking with the phone date of the 14th. Crime online is more believable than the attorney.

What was the date that BL and mother were seen purchasing a phone?
