No one has forgotten that. I believe they knew she was dead when or shortly after those texts started coming in.

I agree. The reason I said that is because I see comments not just here but also YouTube, etc making up possible scenarios and excuses for his parents that don't take those facts (Gabby's family texts and refusal to speak to LE) into consideration.

There are so many details, new information coming out, and many more people are getting interested. So I do think it's possible that people either forgot, or were not aware of those early details.

There was some discussion about there being contentions between GP and BL about keeping the van clean. She, in the Moab body cam claimed to be a little "OCD" about neatness. I'm assuming both removed footwear before entering the van's sleeping area after hiking, etc.
In the original van cam taken by the campers at Spread Creek, a pair of flip flops were seen OUTSIDE the van. It leads me to believe someone still had a reason to follow the "no shoes" in the sleeping area rule. Only one pair of flip flops, not two.
Someone is still following the shoe rule and is in that van - as the front of the shoes are pointing toward the back entrance to the van. Someone is missing. One pair of flip flops.
Who is inside and who is not?

Regarding the Laundrie family being contacted by GP's family. Do we know when, who called who and if voice mail messages or texts were sent/left?

All of the above..

By all accounts GP and BL had a history of breaking up and taking a break from each other. If this was their usual MO why would the Laundries call the police or GP parents? BL more than likely had a convincing story and they didnt question it until she was reported missing. JMO
Except that he stole her van - how would he explain that to his parents? especially when they were frantically trying to call all of them???

Gabby's father said he called and left text messages. He stated he left one message that he was going to call the police if he didn't hear back. At the beginning they were concerned that both Gabby and Brian were missing, so I'm assuming they had also called Brian.
I think Gabby's Mom also talked about leaving messages. I'm not sure if she mentioned texting.

According to the timeline:

SEP 10:: Gabby’s mother texted BL and his mother, RL, trying to get in touch with Gabby, but neither replied. The family alerted the National Park Service.

Cassie said she didn't receive any texts from Gabby's dad. She made sure to clear that misunderstanding up and I bet she gave her phone records to police/FBI to confirm also.

If you listened to Dr Phil, they did indeed call her.
I did listen to Dr. Phil! Cassie has said that no one called her - her first heads up about the case was a call from the FBI on 9/11.

I think it’s all theater.

The parents saw CL get some good press, now they’re jumping on trying to get their own good press for “helping.” The lawyer spit out that statement knowing the FBI won’t confirm or deny, and the FBI decided to run with it using it as an opportunity to get CL away from RL, soften him up, and hope he talks.

They’re also building a case, if/when it’s later proven that the Laundries knew where BL was all along, or at least knew he wasn’t at the reserve, they can use this as evidence they deliberately lied to and misled LE/the FBI and stack federal charges on them.

If they genuinely had a bead on BL there’d be police choppers, dogs, heavy LE presence. Instead it’s one guy with a golf cart.

Cassie said that no one called her and that she would have replied if they had called her.
Petito's phone record would verify if he called CaL or not.

well that sounds pre-planned.

Maybe LE/FBI struck a deal with CL for info on BL's location. No charges for aiding & abetting if he points them in the right direction. I think he might have struck a deal.
The agreement was no media around when "found."

I don't care what PR schemes may or may not be going on, I only hope that today is the day BL is found alive!

The former-FBI agent believes something may have been found that cannot be transported (eg: a fire pit organized in a way that BL’s father may recognize as something BL may have done.)

Interesting video at link below.

Here is the latest from the reserve. Christopher Laundrie is here with police. Former FBI Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer also answers some of your questions about what is happening in this video – how unusual it is – what she thinks is happening– could this get the dad to talk, etc.

I agree the FBI knows exactly who called or texted who and when, but that information hasn't been confirmed to the general public - correct?
What do you mean by confirmed? Confirmed by who? Gabby's parents have confirmed it, her mother confirmed it in a missing persons report. Are you asking if LE has confirmed it?
