Today would be a good day for people to give themselves a time out to rest and regroup. Tomorrow is going to be a busy, action-packed day. The threads will likely move at record speed once the autopsy results come in.

MOO.
I think they are going to say that the autopsy results will not be released at this time.

I want to know, as well. I thought the only text NS wasn't allowed to talk about was the Yosemite. If the Stan text was sent before the Merry Piglets, how would everyone explain that?
well, THAT would be curious, indeed! Gabby did not call her grandpa "Stan", according to her mom.jmo

That is a good thing, I am aware of this. I am referring to their behavior on the 11th and the immediate days following. I think the situation changed for them when Brian left and the FBI became involved. MOO.

I think it did to. Perhaps for the first time they realised that Gabby was missing (missing persons report filed late arvo/early evening on the 11th, Gabby's van impounded late at night on the 11th, JP causing some kind of ruckus on the 10th).

Perhaps for the first time, they realised their son is in VERY deep doo-doo.

We really have absolutely no clue what BL's parents have been told by their son, or what they have said to the FBI or to their lawyer. All we know is that they have kept out of the public eye as much as possible, and that they have interacted with the FBI but not with Gabby's parents.

(I say perhaps because I like to try to look at all sides of the picture.)

Just because Gabby currently "lived" with the Laundries doesn't mean it was her legal residence on her driver's license and the van's registration.

The van had to be registered and insured in order to be licensed by the State of Florida. I believe her father added Gabby and the vehicle to HIS insurance. I also believe it likely her driver's license listed her dad's address. She may also have been on his employer health insurance. It would be cheaper than getting vehicle insurance only in her name. We did the same thing for all of our kids because it was less expensive.

BL didn't have to pay for insurance on her vehicle. The van's insurance would cover any licensed driver.

Could the van have been listed as a company van by BL'S dad's business and insured thru the company? Rates for a male or female under a certain age are ridiculously high. At least in Texas.

Brian Laundrie’s sister, family threatened, police records show | WFLA

<snip>

New records show the fury of this case extends 40 miles away to the home of Brian’s sister, Cassie Laundrie.

Records obtained by 8 On Your Side show, Manatee County Sheriff’s deputies have dropped by the home numerous times in a span of two weeks.

The first call for help came two days after Brian was reported missing.

According to the calls for service log, on Sept. 19, Cassie’s husband James reported he was getting “messages from random people.”

The messages included threats about “killing his family and kidnapping his kids.”

Following the threats, deputies periodically checked in on the family. On Oct. 1, there was a call about “suspicious circumstances.”

Officials investigating and dismissing a possible Brian Laundrie sighting. Then, there’s the disturbance from the protestors.

“We’re not supposed to talk with anybody and you’re making my children cry,” said Cassie Laundrie.

Cassie Laundrie even took questions from a small group of protesters outside her home and clarified some of the timelines around her brother’s disappearance and the death of Gabby Petito.

Former FBI agent Dr. Bryanna Fox says each time there’s a false sighting, a trespasser or a threat, precious resources are pulled away from solving this case.

“Anytime that there’s a death threat made against somebody, law enforcement takes it extremely seriously,” said Dr. Fox.

“It is illegal, it is irresponsible, it is extremely harmful and on top of it, it’s going to just make finding the person whose responsible for Gabby Petito’s murder that much more difficult.”

Maybe. But some states are pretty snippy about your license address matching where you physically live. In NC you have 60 days to notify the DMV of an address change. I guess that's so they know how to find you fail to show up in court for traffic violations. I don't know if FL is so strict though.

I think it's 30 days in Texas. And it is enforced.

Though I expected them to get threats because of all the media coverage and protests, it is still very irresponsible and appalling that people do this

It’s a ruling, it doesn’t say they are announcing the results.
You're right about the ruling, but it is a press conference. Unless the speaker otherwise dictates, press conferences are typically structured so that journalists and other attendees may ask questions. And I hope to God a ton of questions are asked!

yes, we agree. i was responding to a poster who I thought suggested BL may be covering the car insurance and paying for it. Now i look back and see it was JP they were referring to. Sloppy on my part :)

Makes me nervous for an unknown reason.
I really wish they can catch BL soon.

I know what you mean. Probably now we will find out how Gabby died. :(

The Teton County Coroner will hold a press conference tomorrow at 12:30MST (2:30EST) regarding the ruling of the autopsy of Gabby Petito. Presser will be held on Zoom -- and @NewsNationNow will stream online.
This is interesting indeed. Do they usually do this if they’re not going to release any new info? I know someone mentioned earlier that they might just say we cannot release any information at this stage.

Things would have gotten interesting if he had been pulled over for any reason on the way back to Florida. Police officer: "can I see the vehicle's registration?"

I did a deep dive looking into Gabby's last Insta post from the Monarch. We don't know for certain Gabby wouldn't or didn't ever drive the van, so she might have had time to quick go to Ogden to grab some new trinkets and clothes before B got there, or they could have gone together. But those pics seem like they were noonish to early afternoon. I suppose B could have flown in early, then immediately agreed to go shopping in Ogden 40 mns away...but...would he have wanted to do that? Was she with a different friend? Was she alone? We know they checked out of the hotel in SLC on Monday the next day. Seems weird they didn't visit Ogden on the way to the Tetons, but we know the day Gabby was there was Sunday the 23rd, not only from sightings, but also the shops/market are only open on the weekends. (Edit: She went to an event called 'Bizarre at the Monarch' that was a holiday art market, only on the weekend.) The questions have been burning a hole in my brain.

Also she might have bought the pumpkin for her Portland friend, who she was gonna visit on Halloween.

I keep thinking that Monarch post is significant somehow. IMO.

Why would the ruling of the autopsy need to be public knowledge before BL is found ? What if they state no evidence is conclusive at this time as to whom is responsible ? BL would remain a person of interest and perhaps it would encourage him to report in.

I have thought about this Stan text so much. Not sleuthing and not knowing where Stan lives, and not knowing what time zone he is in... does make it a little bit harder to figure out when it was sent. But I'm dying to know!
I had been wondering about that text myself. It just disappeared from being discussed.
