Not being a coroner myself but after following a fair amount of cases here, I'd say the hyoid (?) bone was broken ?

When Gabby gestured to the Moab cops, grabbed her jaw and said "he grabbed me here" I knew. Its only a few inches to that all important hyoid bone.

Finding her 3-4 weeks after death and outdoors, chances are that bones were found but not necessarily all bones. Having said that, it would seem to me it would be hard to identify bruising. I think it might be more probable that they found her hyoid bone fractured. IMHO, MOO, MOO!

This was my first thought. 3-4 weeks is a long time for the tissue to decompose. I would think finding a fractured or broken hyoid bone could be the way they reached this conclusion.

I think so...and that matches with the time frame. They probably got into a huge fight after that

So time of death only narrowed to Aug 22-29 - "body outside in the wilderness for 3-4 weeks; there will not be an exact date of death on the death certificate."

He also slipped up and made reference that this is just one of many deaths due to DV.

more or less what Im getting from this is he strangled her, left her where she lay and ran back to the van and hauled , she wasnt pregnant and we were right about when her death occured, within 2 or 3 days of it anyways, this man can only say so much, cannot say if she was manually strangled or if a object was used, i dont really blame him, LE needs all this to aid their investigation when Brian is found. Ill be so glad when they find Brian, and just have to say some of these questioned are silly silly, but i do think the coroner is sill saying Gabby"s death was due to a domestic encounter!!

What do you mean, if I may ask?

Not really sure. I know these are journalists, so I expect these kinds of questions, but I was hoping for a much more respectful and serious tone from everyone, an awareness that people who love Gabby are viewing. Something about it is off-putting to me.
