And so now the Laundries are even deeper than we thought? Dog says Brian called his parents for advice after he killed GP, and Dog says Brian's a serial killer. So, he no doubt would have called the parents after each of his other killings. OMG...that man has been out in the sun too long, or something...what kinds of books does HE read?

IMO the people that can come up with the most outlandish theories do it for clicks. More clicks and linking more advertising dollars. At first I thought Walsh and Dog could be helpful, now not so much.

I just read the Sun US article about Brian "chubby social outcast." That is a strange yet interesting article. I would love to know who this person is? I'm going to assume it's a guy and not a girl based on the context presented. I have to admit, the gun thing and the Florida connection seems a little ridiculous and sensationalist and not to mention reaching if you ask me. Brian could have hated the New York winters and maybe he just wanted to move to a warmer climate? Didn't his parents already have a house down in Florida before they all moved down there from New York anyway? Florida probably brought him some kind of comfort perhaps. Anyway, I'm very curious who this anonymous friend is and why he's* so confident that Brian will or has been (as he speculates) reaching out to him? Sounds like there was a deeper more intimate relationship going on between the two of them that did not exist with these other friends but that remains to be seen. ~Just a feeling.

Brian Laundrie was a ‘chubby social outcast’ at school, says friend

LOL -- good point!

That's way, waaaaay out in left field.

We know he suffered from anxiety from the cop cams, he said so. But IIRC he didn't want to take medicine for it. And look what happened.

IMO

As one who has a diagnosis of severe anxiety, I resent the implication that anxiety could drive me to kill.

I am so disappointed in DTBH. Beth was the class and brains of that team. Sad because I really liked him until I felt he used this just for a reality show. Jmo

Well, I have given up on getting any work done until this is over, lol.
LOL, me too. Complete waste of an afternoon. The crime scene photos did appear to have bullet holes in the tree. Hopefully we will learn something soon. MOO

Think of the torture. She's incommunicado. Your mind is racing. Where is she? What might have happened? Should we call BL's family and see if they know something? How about her friends? Should we call her friends? Are we being pains in the 🤬🤬🤬? She's 22. Did she call Grandpa? Maybe we should wait. Of course. Well, let's just call the Laundries...at least that. OK. No answer. No call back. Did you leave a message? Of course, I did. How about his sister? No answer.
According to this missing person report, the Petitos went through this kind of torture for 12 days before they reported their daughter missing. 12 days of terror, worry, silence where there should have been some kind of answer. Then, you learn from strangers only one of the pair returned home in your daughter's vehicle. No daughter.
We should all take a few moments to let that sink in. We may be in the calm eye of a storm of speculation, suppositions, fragments of facts - but the reality of an ever present, chatty, accessible daughter gone missing is a sobering, irrevocable, heart rending fact. Sadly, there are thousands of families suffering this same truth.
When I see this report, I see the decisive moment when grief achieves it's summit upon a mountain of fear, longing and unanswered questions. I feel so utterly awful for the Petitos. :(

I want to be in the 'I don't care who finds him as long as he's found' camp, but DTBH is just too much for me. If this was a book I was reading (I'm obviously a serial killer too), I would've put it down by now for being so unrealistic. Everyday is like a new episode of a really bad soap opera.

Can someone point me to the thread where this all started? Who said they took a polygraph? I can't see this at all.
MOO But, giving latitude to it, when would it have happened? Press had been out there 24/7 and from all accounts they never saw them report to any precinct or fed office. MOO

I'm interested in this as well. ^^^
Afaik, the Laundry seniors did not take a poly. ??
Imo.

It sounds to me that Agencies aren’t working together? Why would a Coroner have a press conference without LE guiding information being released? If they guided information, I would think they would say they had been in communication but wouldn’t be present? Is the Forensic Pathologist from Sheridan going to be present or just the general Physician Coroner? I feel the valuable information will come from the forensic pathologist!

I'm surprised FBI won't be present. But I still believe they are working together and that whatever we hear from coroner today will have been pre-approved for release by FBI Denver and AUSA in WY . MOO

I work at a restaurant a couple times a week. Grat added to parties of 7 or more. Menu doesn't state it.
I believe you, but that's not kosher. I worked in restaurants and country clubs for years and if grat was added, customers or members knew it. I was grateful for the policy, because huge groups with a bunch of kids would have taken up all my time and station, and slithered out if they were not obligated to pay the gratuity! Not all, but you know what I mean............jmo

It was in the last thread - a statement from SB about the family and CL "searching" in the preserve and he mentioned it. I will see if I can track it down and edit with the link
ETA:
Authorities to provide more details on Gabby Petito's final autopsy report
snipped
After more than a week of searching for Laundrie, the FBI went back to his parents, asking for personal items of his to assist with DNA matching. They provided what they could, Bertolino, the Laundries' lawyer, told multiple news outlets.

Laundrie's father has participated in a search of the nature reserve for him, but he has no plans to assist in police searches and the couple will not take a polygraph test, Bertolino said.

I know that BL looks guilty as pie, but hear me out.

Coroner says he will be addressing cause/manner of death.
FBI is not part of the press conference and will not comment. (If she was shot/strangled/etc, why not use this opportunity to name an official suspect?)
BL is still only a person of interest and a missing person, not a suspect in her death.
GP's death was ruled a homicide which just means something or someone was the cause of her death and it was not natural.

Is it possible, somehow, that she could have been attacked by an animal and the circumstances leading to that attack was BL's doing or fault, thus he's hiding because he feels the blame would be on him? It would account for all the current facts we have.

Idk. Just trying to think of alternatives here while we've got an hour to wait...

"I spoke w/ renowned forensic pathologist Cyril Wecht today who has worked on a lot of high profile cases & he says he believes one of the key reasons how #GabbyPetito died hasn’t been released yet could be because info the coroner & FBI knows is info only the killer would know."
Agreed.
Thanks for the link !!

My .02 ; I want justice for Gabby more than full disclosure !
And also imo I believe her family feels likewise.
MOO.

Sounds like it's time to keep a dog or two with you when your out for an early warning system.
I have a dog and two goats haha. But also a lot of cameras and privacy lights. And a shotgun next to my bed. I live alone, I take care of my home.

That's pretty typical for parties of 6, 7, 8, or more and should be expected by most parties dining out but the OP said it was an 18% charge on "discounted meals" that to me is just plain bizarre. "Semi-annual sale. 30% off entire stock, not including 18% discounted sale fee added" I could see myself saying "Huh"??? Lol MOO
