I read that the Ls arranged last night with the FBI to go search again and The FBI met them there this morning.

I think this is all just too convenient. I think these articles were most likely planted. This place was thoroughly searched, it was gone over again when CL was brought through the area it would defy logic that now 24 hours after the park was opened, articles belonging to Brian are now found.
Makes you wonder if the activity occurring on the AT were hitting to close to home and they needed to divert everyone's attention away from the AT where Brian really is. JMO

Someone said a medical examiner was going into the park. If true, that could be more than belongings found. Maybe the parents were communicating with him and communication stopped so they went there, knowing right where he would be. IMO.

Just my opinion.
But I think they really wanted to believe the best of their son, I don't think this is easy for them, and I feel they knew he would kill himself. Their suffering is different from GP's family but I think they are still in pain. And this has just been one mess after another.
I would prefer he be found alive and answer to the charges, I would prefer he be forced to say what he did and why? But I have felt from the beginning, he would be found dead.
A lot of parents want to believe the best of their child, feel they are misunderstood....

There absolutely is a question of who did it. There has been no trial, no arrest and no evidence to show who killed GP. Everyone presumes BL which is the exact reason he hired an attorney bc everyone has jumped to a conclusion with no proof. Her death could be an accident, self inflicted or murder committed by a number of suspects.

I find it interesting that CL came out there to show them some places BL frequented, but this trail was skipped? Hmmm. Then, when this part is open to the public, they go to search, LE met them out there, & here we are. I just think it’s interesting. Nothing more. JMO.

Just to clarify, JB & Mahsa have said several times that this environmental park was open yesterday until this morning. Which makes sense as to why they had planned to go themselves - the park opened. Then when LE met them there & the articles were found, they closed the park back.

I have the same issue as you. ChL was out there on October 7 and nothing was found, LE has been searching for how long? nothing found. But all of a sudden when they park is opened and RL and ChL go to search, something is found. It's so fishy?

Also - the statement said brief search - how brief? How were they so easily found?

This would be the first day they could, as members of the public, just go in and search. So that makes sense to me.

But yeah, really suspicious if they just happened to find his stuff within their first minutes of searching when the FBI couldn't for a month?

I agree it’s very odd! And remember CL was escorted by the search team to SHOW THEM BRIAN’S FAVORITE TRAILS! CL was there for several hours and left with not finding anything.

Or they could have went in and had a cup of coffee and left. Most banks offer courtesy coffee. There's no telling and all we can do is speculate. I also think the more MSM and people online are talking about their errands, the less people are thinking about the task at hand which is finding their son. IMO.

And I know, I know, commenters are about to come out of the woodwork with statements about everything SB and the Laundries say or do is criticized and nothing ever works. BUT before you type that out, sit there and think to yourself, you reported your son missing over a month ago and did NOTHING to help LE search for him, minus one short visit way after the fact to identify trails he liked to frequent. Now, after LE has reopened this to the public and indicated their search of the area is over for the most part, you want to leave your home to go search.

Where was that effort when you had all of LE's technology available to you to use? Why would you not scour every favorite trail and give them a more generalized idea of WHERE to use the technology instead of, oh, somewhere in this, what, 23,000-acre park?

This feels like an effort to make it look like LE was refusing their requests to help, honestly. Between the previous statements about how CL had not been able to visit the preserve since the initial day he went to search and his excitement to help that one day for a few hours, it almost seems like a set up for the Laundries to say, "We wanted to help. They wouldn't let us. We were forced to wait until they were done to search for our son."

How many civilian volunteers did LE allow to help them search the reserve? If any, were they under any disclosure agreements? Do you have access to LE internal communications to know what information BL's parents may have given to LE that they did not give to the media who weren't allowed to search inside the park either?
