So, last night SB said that BL was "grieving" and there was nothing ChL could do to stop him. In the course of this interview it has changed to "BL was a young man who liked to go off camping on his own so it wasn't that big of a deal or cause for alarm."

MOO

I can't find it right now, but on Sep 13th the media made a big deal out of CL mowing the lawn, so there should be footage.

Think that was the 12th because I recall posting about it

ETA the link
Was Monday the 12th or was it the 13th?
'
On Monday, Laundrie’s father, Christopher Laundrie, 62, refused to comment to the Daily Mail on his son’s whereabouts while mowing his lawn.'

Watching Banfield....

Someone, please....Is Mr. Bertolino now walking back having reported to the FBI on Sept 13th that Brian was missing? He is using phrases like 'mentioned to the FBI' that 'by the way, Brian didn't come home' and asked Ashleigh to, lose the word 'report.' "
I thought he said he reported B not returning on the 14th, from his hike on the 13th. NO? jmo

He seemed to start out one way and end the other. That was my impression. He changed the gist of the phone call/situation throughout the program.

Keep in mind that JT was the one who absolutely rubbished the idea that the Laundries would participate in the search for BL. Early the next day the Laundries were assisting in the search. (In fact, folks on this board were in the midst of musing about what a giant liar Bertolino was, and how ridiculous his suggestion was that the Laundries might actually be asked to help in the search, when we received reports that the Laundries were indeed assisting in the search. That was quite the moment.)

In that article (linked in the quoted comment) JT is making an assumption. "Please keep in mind that NPPD was an assisting agency until Tuesday night September 14th," he wrote. "I’m confident that if that were true, the information would have been relayed."

So JT is claiming its not true simply because he didn't know about it. That is exactly what he did with the search info.

I'm pretty sure Bertolino is not lying about this. Somehow, somewhere, the info he provided, that Brian went missing on the 13th, seems to have fallen through the cracks.
Who is JT? Thx!

Brian Laundrie's remains given to anthropologist

"LE is confident they will eventually be able to get a cause of death"

3:03 minutes

Hmmm, I'm liking the word confident... I do want to know how he died. As do we all, I'm thinking.
This is an awful thing to say, even if it is BL, but hanging himself would be appropriate, IMO.

The 13th was a busy day.

Spoke with SB
Went on hike and was upset when he left
CL mows the lawn
CL goes looking for him at some point
SB tells FBI he hasn’t returned at some point

Anything else that day?
Edited to add lawn!

So at this point, what had come out publicly about GP? Any calls on or before from GP parents? This could be where BL's 'lie' started falling apart.

What a mess.

It's a complete mess. They're trying this case in the court of public opinion.

I’m surprised from what we’ve heard so far that the park is being opened up already. If it’s “skeletal” remains and only partial, I’d think they’d take the time to search and find as much as exists in that area. I’m just surprised they’re sure they collected all evidence so quickly. JMO.
This really doesn’t surprise me. They must feel confident that they collected as much of the remains as possible. Any missing remains of any consequence are probably in a predators stomach. Unless they have reason to suspect a particularly aggressive gator, they’ll let it go.

I hadn't heard about that ( the entire report is censored out) but the corresponding police scanner on youtube does have police stating that the neighbors "didn't head anything" so it might make sense. I thought this report was rumored to be about a Laundrie vehicle but I will have to go and check old articles for that info.

MOO.. I'm also quite confused about the location where BL was found. This location was allegedly his "favorite spot".. why would his favorite place be right at the entrance of a national park? BL's Instagram/GP's edited captions always put a big emphasis on him being an experienced hiker, having superior athletic abilities, reaching higher heights, etc.. Was it his favorite spot, or did he want to be found quickly?
Maybe he was trying to hold out when the rains came but when the water started getting deep he tried to get back to the car (thinking it was still there) and he became injured or attacked by wildlife?

Are you kidding me????!

Maybe he should be taking his own advice and remaining silent. Because so much of what he says seems to be contradictory and not helping his clients at all. JMO.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

Maybe the Laundries and their lawyer will spill the beans. Tell everyone what they knew and when they knew it. Gabby is the victim. He killed her, imo, then he stole her vehicle, stole her money and left her out on the river flats so that predators could ravage her body. How many WEEKS did he leave her out in the cold, all night and all day to be possibly ripped to shreds, desiccated, rained and snowed upon. While he was enjoying himself on picnics and in his parents house, probably quite cozy 24\7 and 3 squares a day.

ALL of my sympathy is for the Petito\Schmidts. None left over for anyone else in this case. Except LE who had to spend so much taxpayer money and risk their lives to clean up after BL.

Imo
