I think they were referring to the driver of the vehicle, not her general appearance as she walked around.. a baseball cap could lead to that conclusion of a driver.

I think they have video of CL coming home in the red truck, that clearly identifies him, so they were stuck using the only other “body” that returned to the house.

I don't think that information about the condition of her remains was ever released. Everyone with knowledge has been very tight-lipped about that.

Corrected to say: Other forensic experts have said that it would be likely that there would have been "scattering" of the remains by animals in that situation which implies normal animal scavenging activity.

FBI/LE has made no mention of the parents phones. So we don't know.

IF they did get more phones it would be quite odd given that they had just got some after BL got back to FL.
Unless they were cancelling a plan or buying something else

I am positive that someone either feds or ME said (on video) that she was not bothered by wildlife and hadn't been "scattered" as you put it.
I have been trying to find it again but have had no luck yet.

Angelo says Laundrie was screaming at the hostess and Petito was in tears and apologizing.
"It looked as though they were like almost getting kicked out," Angelo told ABC News. "It wasn't necessarily between them, it was more so Gabby abruptly leaving the restaurant crying, and Brian was just evidently really upset, pissed off, I would say. I would say Gabby was upset, he was angry, and he was just being very temperamental towards the restaurant staff."​

I don't doubt that she witnessed something happening, but it's unlikely that BL was screaming because she said she and her boyfriend (?) were sitting very close to the table BL and GP were sitting at and close to the hostess area where he was complaining to staff, and yet they didn't hear what the problem was about. I don't see why the exaggeration is needed. It's believable that he was upset if he came back a few times to complain about whatever the issue was about, but it's not believable that he was screaming. imo

oh I agree. If they said 'screaming' he was screaming. He looks like a screamer.

I just can't get past seeing and hearing someone screaming in a restaurant, but not hearing what they were saying. I'd be on alert to hear what was going on if I witnessed something like tyat. And that her husband didn't hear the screaming until she pointed it out to him is very odd.
