I'm thinking she was using a VPN as others theorized earlier. I guess it's common in van-life, but idk why.
VPN’s allow a user to geo-spoof. Many online media services require a location to use with your membership. Hulu us an example…but many services can detect these VPN’s…however…it’s still common to use them-especially while traveling when a static IP isn’t possible.

What is the last known, confirmed sourced citing of Brian that MSM or LE have given. Not what his parents have said, but what we know to be an actual, confirmed citing placing him in FL, whether it’s on 9/1 or this past Tuesday. Is that info anywhere out here yet?

A
As police stated, a poi is free to do and go where they want, they are not officially a suspect in a crime.

Family told police BL was at the home, police had no right to enter the home to check..

************************************

A person has the right to do and go where they want - but the police also have a right to track him. Tracking him isn't preventing him from going anywhere.

I’m just here to say WTF?!?!

Now that his parents are worried about their missing son now they want to talk to LE......give me a break!!! PATHETIC!!!!

Feeling so sorry for Gabby's parents tonight.

Police spokesperson behaved unprofessionally tonight in his call to WFLA. His anger at a reporter because his viewers are expressing opinions about missing Brian Laundrie is misplaced. Comms people need to have discipline. Their job is to get appropriate information out to the public to whom they are accountable. MOO.

well, maybe Gabby"s Dad will find Brain!!:p:p

They chose not to be heavy handed, probably a deliberate strategy to keep communication open.
Exactly! If LE was all over the family, BL's attorney would blow it up.

BL Is an adult. Parents and lawyer seem awefully involved and pretty close to obstruction. If they haven’t “seen him” since Tuesday, why waiting until now to bring to attention of police?
Bringing this over from the media no discussion thread
This is where you need to post @Theswt1

And then he just said, and if we need to make someone pay for what they have done, we will.
He sure did! And he was PO’d at first about comments online. The real kicker to me was when he said when they find him they’ll take him back to his parents house. Well that didn’t work out too well the first time so let’s do it again?

I just watched the interview with Josh Taylor, the spokesperson for the NPPD. The Laundrie family told the police that Brian was with them at the house until Tuesday. LE took their word for this.

Herein lies the problem, IMO.

Disappointed the phone call did not give detail on how to find BL - what he was wearing, driving, etc.

None that I have found- I’ve updated the media thread and the earliest reports put t
Her van back at their home 9/1 -

Maybe he ran off without their knowledge. Maybe he was in the basement. (Did he and Gabby have a separate living space with kitchen etc.?)
HA! Florida has no basements because of water table.

It’s possible that dude EG ditched the van at his parents’ house insulted them & ran off … what if they’ve been trying desperately to get in touch with him ever since. Maybe they ignore Gabby’s parents’ outreach cuz they are already in panic about their own run-off kid & have no attn for anything else… JMO speculating on possibility that their behavior could be misinterpreted … IA they most likely sheltered him knowingly & then gave him several days’ head start to hit the road… but not only possibility just saying MOO

one thing I’m sure they are getting terrible legal representation! IIRC this is a random family friend / non-crim atty?? He seems like a disaster, they need Dick DeGuerin not Daffy Duck

Anyone else reminded of when Jesse Matthew skipped town and nobody knew where he was? IIRC, he had a warrant put out for Hannah Graham's abduction while he was on the run, and they found him in Galveston, Texas.
Here's the difference with BL - his face is plastered everywhere. Where can he possibly hide. I think he'd even get ID'd out of the country at this point.

First post.
I suspect, IMHO, that police may have been looking in BL's parents' silver Ford Mustang for a firearm. Parents have not heard from BL since Tuesday, and perhaps they just discovered their concealed carry pistol missing from car, causing them to call police out of concern for BL. JUST MY THOUGHTS.

This is plausible.

I’d hate to think there is this level of stupidity at play for a concealed carry to be left in a vehicle, but then we’ve seen what we’re dealing with here…

You know this spokesperson is exhausted. He's been doing interviews from early morning to late at night for days.
And the media like to bait police to feed their own popularity.

I think it was an organized escape. Parents got him out of the country. imo
