A miracle in the shape of the green backpack Levi spent about 2 months building up, filling it with Pop-Tarts, Clif bars, bandages, and even an emergency tent — all things that Julian said helped him out in a time of need.

“We found some food in there so that kept us pretty well. Also, he had a water jug,” Julian said. “It kept us pretty well into the morning.”

Levi said he’s “glad it could help someone.”

A woman in North Carolina is accused of locking her boyfriend in a storage unit for several days last week.

Police helped free the man Monday, after having been in the unit for four days.

Investigators said the man’s girlfriend, Robin Deaton, locked him in the storage unit following an argument between the couple.

The man was able to call for help after he found his phone inside the storage unit, the owner of the facility told WBTV. It wasn’t immediately clear how the man lost his phone, but the storage unit was reportedly dark and crowded.

These desert Bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis), although not as agile as mountain goats, are well adapted for climbing and descending steep terrain. They have split hooves which aid in balance and rough hoof bottoms for natural grip on steep and rocky terrain.

Her 51-year-old boyfriend had been locked in the unit on Thursday, police said. Deaton allegedly convinced him to crawl to the back of the unit to get her something, then slammed it shut and said, “This is what you get,” according to police.

WBTV also revealed a recording of the 911 call. The dispatcher asks what the emergency is, and the man wearily replies, "I've been locked in a storage unit for about a week now. And I just now found my phone." The dispatcher asked if he required Emergency Services to check him out. The boyfriend responds, "I just need out of here. I just can't breathe, I haven't had nothing to drink or anything." The man also explains that his girlfriend installed a second lock on the unit.

The moment part of Birch Street in Philadelphia’s Port Richmond neighborhood caved in underneath two parked vehicles, 12:52pm today. No one was in the vehicles or walking near them. Repairs are still underway & the Chevy Traverse is still deep down in the sinkhole.

Numerous social media users expressed concern about a possible shooting, but police sources told WFAA there were no shots fired. Dallas police later confirmed Saturday afternoon on X that there was not an active shooter. In a press release sent out via email Saturday afternoon, Dallas police said officers responded to an active shooter call. Their investigation determined a fight between two people led to multiple poles being knocked down, which caused a loud noise.

He inspired Parton’s classic, “Jolene.” Parton told NPR in 2008 that she wrote the song about a flirty bank teller who seemed to take an interest in Dean.

“She got this terrible crush on my husband,” she said. “And he just loved going to the bank because she paid him so much attention. It was kinda like a running joke between us — when I was saying, ‘Hell, you’re spending a lot of time at the bank. I don’t believe we’ve got that kind of money.’ So it’s really an innocent song all around, but sounds like a dreadful one.”

X-ray shows diamond earrings swallowed by theft suspect during arrest, police say:

A suspected thief gulped down two pairs of diamond earrings during his arrest on the side of a Florida Panhandle highway last week, detectives say, leaving them with the unenviable task of waiting to "collect" the Tiffany & Co. jewelry worth nearly $770,000.

In the squad car, a state trooper heard the suspect say, "I should have thrown them out the window," and at the Washington County jail he asked staff, "Am I going to be charged with what is in my stomach?" according to the arrest report.

The 32-year-old man from Texas is accused of two felonies for forcibly stealing the earrings from an upscale Orlando shopping center last Wednesday…

During the theft, the man allegedly told Tiffany sales associates he was interested in purchasing diamond earrings and a diamond ring on behalf of an Orlando Magic basketball player. Sales associates escorted the man to a VIP room where he could view the jewelry. A short time later, he jumped out of his chair, grabbed the jewelry and tried to force his way out of the door.

"These foreign objects are suspected to be the Tiffany earrings taken in the robbery but will need to be collected ... after they are passed," the department's arrest report said.

Orlando police spokeswoman Kaylee Bishop said Wednesday she was checking with the lead detective on whether the earrings had been recovered yet.
