What is this about trying to fish? I missed that part.

Although I agree there's been no other testimony that would support it, I actually think the meth class claim does a better job of explaining Clint's actions and reactions and explanations that morning. Flowing from it, he wasn't alarmed, and he didn't shoot anyone, and he wouldn't tell who it was, but maybe those oddities happened because he knew that the perps were there by his invitation, and he therefore figured it would all be okay eventually.

But even if we had reason to believe that story, it wouldn't help ZA at all to prove it. "Yes I kidnapped HB but you got the reason all wrong as to why I was there" isn't an argument worth offering. From CB's testimony, can we even put ZA at the scene of the kidnapping? CB obviously saw someone else, so no upside for ZA to put himself there for a different reason, if he was.

I think it is as Clint testified under oath.............he did not know Zach Adams and not one person has testified refuting his testimony other than ZA supposedly told JA he was going over to give a meth tutorial which in itself is absurd.

It really doesn't matter under the law which perp came to do the original kidnapping. They were all holding her against her will.

There is no proof that ZA went there to teach Clint how to cook meth. I have always believed Clint's statements and he was trying to make logical sense to what he was seeing. His statement of what happened and why he didn't do certain things makes logical sense to me and always has.

No one wakened out of sleep gets up and automatically thinks their family member is being kidnapped. Its easy to find fault, and play Monday morning quarterback as to what someone should do in a situation like this who has never been in that situation. It reminds me of so many other false claims made against other family members of other kidnapped family members because they didn't hear or see one thing when the kidnapper came in, and took their child when they were inside of the home. The common theme was 'oh they had to hear something' implying it was suspicious as if they did know, and just sat there while the monster crept out of their home with their child.

It seems in every case the masses have to pick on one of the family members in cases like this, and sadly, in this case it seems to be Clint.

Imo, Clint did not know ZA nor did he have a clue what was happening the morning Holly was kidnapped.

IMO

This ADA should stop saying "corroborated" because it keeps coming out as if Elmer Fudd is saying it "cowwobowated."

:seeya: Good question ...

 What happened to a lot of evidence ?

:moo:

I guess they're implying her clothes were burned (maybe along with some other evidence) in the burn barrel. And the coyotes consumed the remains---but whatever happened to the dang blanket? She was taken away in the blanket so it wasn't burned in the barrel and the coyotes didn't eat it so where is it? Why wasn't it found with her remains?

Can someone answer this question for me? When this trial is over, will all the investigative information including things not included in the trial be available to the public?

If convicted everything the Judge ruled inadmissible will most likely all come in during the sentencing phase.

Probably not. Definitely not before all cases are complete. If it comes out at all, it will be at the desecration if prosecutors and defense attorneys. I can’t see why either would do that.

Zach presumably disposed of the body/blanket alone, after leaving JA. We will never know what Zach did or didn't do with the blanket. All we know is he did a lot of cleaning up in the following week, so he could have burned it, threw it in a dumpster, etc. We will never know unless he says it or someone else comes forward to say they saw him do something with it.
