Offhand, there are 2 things that jump out at me:

Page 1 Footnote 2
The Adam Shacknai 911 tape has an unexplained "8-second gap" at 1:43 of the 911 call during which no sound was recorded. We are informed by the Coronado Police Department, which recorded the call, that there was no "8-second gap" in the original recording. For comparison purposes, the call to police by Paul Pfingst had no such gap […] WTF????

Page 3: E. {…} Two previous "missing" audiotaped interviews were located with the assistance of the California Attorney General. Well, at least Ms. Harris did something...

Also, I'm curious about who is in the missing audiotaped interviews.

Rudoy or Fleck said something about the call made buy Pfingst in the presser, "the second call to police" (a 911 call) and said he called in reference to Adam about 5-6 pm the day Becky was found. Why would Pfingst call 911?

Wondering what are the two missing photographs?

Is this the first we are hearing about a 911 call from Pfingst? Why did he call 911? Didn't we know that he called some special number at the police station to stop AS from taking the poly? How is it possible or legal that they didn't release the ENTIRETY of AS's 911 call to the family when they gave them the documents nearly two years ago?!?! Remember when Gore went on TV and insinuated that they would release everything even things the family wouldn't want out? Because it's always ok for LE to threaten a grieving family right? Oh, and give them incomplete information.

Yes, WTH would PP call 911? Why the Heck are there photos missing. These are issues are HUGE and present even more questions in this case. This is so, so wrong.

I find it somewhat encouraging that AG Harris has helped the family obtain new evidence. Perhaps she's willing to approach the case this way as opposed to conducting a new investigation on her own.

Agree. It sounds like she was sympathetic and tried to help. I forget the exact explanation, but Harris was only able to look at whether someone should have been a suspect and found there wasn't any wrongdoing on that?? Is that correct?

Hi arielilane - according to Ann Rule's book, it was Gideon, the father who contacted AS to drop what he was doing and fly out to Coronado to "help" his brother..

Sorry that I cannot remember where I read that their father actually initiated the visit. I've read so many different things, but I do remember reading it somewhere.

Adam uses a lot of cusses. "Kevlar synthetic" rope. He claims he doesn't remember whether she was tied up or not! :what: But remembers she was gagged with a "f*ckin' blue scarf". He says "no" when asked whether Rebecca was suicidal but when asked whether it was suicide, he says "absolutely".

Someone should transcribe the entire polygraph examination.

Good questions. I also wondered if she could have been hog tied and if he loosened the rope.

And, about the gag, it may mean nothing but he made it sound like it was in her mouth not just covering it.

I'm hoping at this point the Zahau team doesn't care. And, I think this is an empty threat anyway. Gore does not want all the evidence out there. How bad would it look if Gore only released stuff that was about Rebecca and/or personal but would not release all of it - heck he hasn't even given back her personal belongings to the family. I'm actually glad to see they aren't asking for them back, then the chain of custody remains with the SDSD and they can't claim anything was done to evidence.

I haven't listened to AS's 911 call since around the time it was released, but IIRC, the 8 second audio gap referenced by the Zahau's attorney occurred at the point when AS got very close to Rebecca's (reportedly) hanging body, at the point when he would need to make contact with her to (reportedly) cut her down. I wonder if those 8 seconds would shed light on his impression of how Rebecca was tied and gagged or her general condition.

In his lie detector test, I find it interesting that he said "I fear...I hope to God" she wasn't tied up. IMO, it implies he is associating "tied up" with potential foul play. He did say the red rope was something he wouldn't think would just be lying around, but his greater concern seemed to be the fact that she may have been tied up at all. He says he asked the detectives about this because he couldn't remember.

Also interesting that, at least during the lie detector test, he didn't seem to remember whether he called 911 before or after he (reportedly) cut the rope from which Rebecca's body was reportedly hanging. He also referenced CPR instructions...it sounded like he was saying an operator gave him specific instructions? Was this a separate 911 call, or a portion of the 911 call that has not been released?

As always, all of the above is just my opinion.
