I'm going to google search the route in blue today.... Going from Christy, where they found her prosthetic and possibly a bone, to the 21 21st address...
I'm getting the feeling that me and satelite maps are going to become close friends...
If I find anything... I'll post...

Are you sure? Looking at the church map, Poovey's Baptist Parsonage looks to be exactly where that overlook is, and it's near intersection of Deal Mill.

That house is going to take extensive renovation. I hope the landlord had insurance.

It's not snowing here in Hickory or at the search sight. It's snowing in the mountains. That's a good 45 minutes to an hour from here if they are talking about the Ski Resorts. If they are talking about Maggie Valley it's a little further than that. It is cold and has drizzled a little but no snow in the search area thank goodness.

Let's not get too worked up yet, need to hear something from LE, this may be nothing more than a reporter needing a headline and a bunch of LE in a circle looking at a kitty skeleton for all we know. Until we hear otherwise, she is still missing and we need to continue on our map searching!

I agree. It could be something or it could be they are praying for guidance. IMO

Sounds like they are reporting that "additional evidence" was found in the Christie Rd. area (mind you, that does not mean it is actually connected to her, just that it could be) and that they finished the day with a prayer circle. So the reporting goes anyways.

IMHO.. The owner of that house should take a loss and tear it down...NOW
Some type of memorial should be put in place on the site....JMHO

Not to be a spoilsport, but maybe a new thread for what should be done with the house? We are trying to limit the amount of filtering needing to be done.
(I agree btw, maybe a fund can be set up to help the city buy the land from the owner to turn it into a memorial park.)

Just wondering....since there is such a large search effort there now and so many people, would they not gather in a circle at the end of the day just to go over what they've done so far and what they have yet to do perhaps the next day?

Yes, a debriefing should happen at the end of every day and is generally held near the CC or mobile command van.

K, just watched the video. Looks like a debrief to me, right by the van, which is what you do EVERY day at a search, followed by a prayer, which u do too.
