Thanks Oriah, one more photo for you showing the topographical landscape of the previous pic, kinda surprised me a bit. The woods beyond the unknown road marker are in a horseshoe valley of some type. It looks like the dirt roads run the upper trail.

Also on Friday, search teams collected more evidence from the Christie Road area in Caldwell County. Law enforcement officials said that the items found quite possibly have nothing to do with the investigation, but they will all be tested as a precaution.

WBTV has also learned that the search at the Christie Road site is over for now, though officials reserve the right to return if necessary.

So they are done at Christie Rd. and the last Baker residence. Do we know where they are searching today?

I checked with Hubby regarding whether the tower near bone recovery site is a cellphone tower or radio/tv tower (he works in broadcasting). He shares my opinion that the red and white tower is a radio/tv tower, for all the reasons I mentioned.

We could be wrong, of course, but that is our opinion.

I have asked this question several times, and never received a response, Writer. I read somewhere that a neighbor reported seeing AB and EB hanging around the mailboxes after they had already moved out. JUST standing around. I can not substantiate this, though, because I can't recall whether or not this was reported in MSM. I do find the story interesting enough to pique my curiosity, though. I assumed this was the Philips Lane addy because I'm under the impression that this was the addy of the trailer they lived in just prior to moving to 21st Ave.

Just to be clear, my questions regarding this property are this: HAS the area been thoroughly searched by LE? And IS this, in fact, the address prior to the 21st address?

Meanwhile, the residents of a trailer park in Caldwell County where Zahra lived until mid-summer are still hoping the girl will be found alive, but they admit that hope is fading. Search teams combed the woods around the trailer park last Wednesday.

"They need to come back and do some more," said Tabitha Haas.

Haas said Adam and Elisa Baker were spotted in the neighborhood about three weeks ago.

"They came here at night," Haas said.

Peggy Johnson claims a few days later, "the most awful smell was coming up out of the manhole in my yard."

She said authorities lifted the lid and looked inside, but only for a few seconds.

"They's another manhole in the holler that they need to come back and look at," Johnson said.

The place she talked about is hidden in a valley area behind a vacant trailer. It is in the same area where the couple was spotted.

eta: M Kat, I do wonder if this is the same area as the mailbox reports.

I find this confusing. I assume Mrs. Johnson is referring to this manhole, and that the manhole is behind a vacant trailer? Is she also saying that she saw AB and EB near this manhole? Or just in the general area of the trailer park?

I can see no earthly reason why the 2 of them would venture behind a vacant trailer, but perhaps I'm assuming alot with respect to how the trailer is situated.

Need to try to get a google maps shot, I guess.

A "holler" is how we hillbillies say "hollow".

It's a valley, of sorts, a low flat area between two or more hills.

ETA: I see a Phillips-Hall Ln. in Hudson...no streetview, though.

Yes, it appears that what yo are seeing is a manhole, according to the County GIS system. I have attached the GIS data for that area, that shows the sewage lines in Orange/Brown (can't tell which). I'm not sure if there is a manhole at each turn, or where they put them, but it gives you an idea of where the sewers run in that particular trailer court.

ETA: I'm wondering if the "holler" or hollow, is where the lines make an X behind the trailer at the bottom of Phillip Lane? The exact location of that manhole could be closer to the trees, thus being referred to as in the "hollow?"
