Good morning everyone.
First of all, I'm thanking everyone on their posts here because of all of the hard work ya'll have clearly done on both keeping this thread on topic and also coming up with some very valuable research. This is the kind of thread that makes WS's what it is. Many of the areas described have already been searched and/or have been brought to the attention of LE and SAR. That said, please do not become discouraged! Please continue sleuthing possible locations based on the information we already have. LE and SAR are still 100% committed to finding Zarha, or evidence associated with Zahra's investigation and disappearance. There are many requests that may seem to make little sense (such as identifying 'party' spots) but rest assured they are there for a reason.

Also, once again a reminder that should evidence or rumors of evidence or Zarha found begin to circulate, please confirm with LE before posting.

Perhaps I should have clarified that better. Until LE confirms something (which may be much later than MSM)....please do not take MSM info and run wild with it- especially if it concerns remains. Discussing what MSM prints or shows is absolutely fine. But until you hear from LE that something is confirmed or denied, it is not fact. It is MSM.

We have seen any cases where families of missing persons have been very badly hurt by speculations that arise from misreported MSM regarding the finding of remains. MSM frequently retracts and/or changes info as new or corrected info is released. Please feel free to link any MSM reports regarding searches or results of searches etc here.

But please do NOT take them as the word of God, if you know what I mean. That was what I meant by that post and it is JMO. Hope this helps.

That was the Hartland Road area in Morganton.
Dudley Shoals is where Elisa used to live in Granite Falls.


Fred Causby is the foreman for Real Tree Services and operates the company from his home on Hartland Road north of Morganton. He hired Baker as a laborer about six months ago.

Ok, I think we have probably exhausted the Christie Rd area in terms of mapping. Let's start working the deal mill/rebel run (based on the fact that EB had a home in that area off of carefree).
Also the Burns Rd area.

No it was hartland rd in Burke County outside of Lenoir. It Northwest of 321. This was supposedly the residence of his boss...not neccesarily where they were working that day. I haven't heard any mention of actual job sites as of yet. They are searching supposedly I have heard 2-3 Helicopters but not made a confirmation as to which direction they are traveling to get any sort of idea yet.

Sorry I've been missing for a while but had to take care of another parrot rescue. Glad to say he's fine and living it up on fresh veggies and fruit at the ranch! Anyway, what I'd love to know is if any of the locals have had any sightings of where the search has continued today.

It is my belief that they are still getting some information from EB and tips as well and are acting on them as quickly as possible while waiting for DNA results to what they've discovered so far to come back.

Wouldn't it be such a relief if, despite what it seems like and what we've all been thinking, that she is found in relatively one piece? I know the chance of that is SLIM, but still, I hope.

Yes, I have been working on it, but it is an utterly massive search area.
I am starting with that lower section of deal mills, but I also have concerns about the Rebel Run area as she lived in a house that backed right up to it. The problem there is it is miles long. I think that if they don't find her in the areas that they are looking now that they will need to ask for the community to help. Get people on horseback and foot and try to clear that area as best they can. It is so secluded u could literally stop in the middle of the road and roll a body outta the car and nobody would know.

I think the loop you made is quite plausible and with that you see how many other areas there are that need to be looked at. So, with that, everyone grab and area and start plotting! Locals, please jump in and tell us of areas on that route that stick out in your mind. Local perspective in sooooo important here!

Currently trying to track down what this trail is off Rebel Run Rd. Seeing no AT trail through there. Trying to see if there is a campground or pulloff for cars of hikers...having zero luck.

I can't help but wonder if they have searched near the river at all? I seen it off Hickory Blvd. in one of the maps posted and noticed it is also near the house in Hickory.
