Ugh... Unless I am blind, that is NOT gunpowder creek......

You're not blind. Them calling it that is what started the goose chase earlier.

I think it is someone sitting at a desk looking these things up not knowing the road turns into Fowler and then back into Dudley Shoals.

May we should all start emailing them and very nicely give them the correct information?

WBTV at 4 Sky 3 live overhead. Steve Crump on scene, investigators are quiet and reporters are being restricted to the church area. Recap of the water searchers. They plan on being there quite awhile maybe thru the night. NO PRESS UPDATE TODAY MAYBE TOMORROW.

Welcome to my world, Sarx. Color me confused.

ETA: Where I'm seeing Gunpowder Creek listed, the closest former address is 10 Quarry Rd. (sigh)

If they did scatter the remains, doesn't it appear that they didn't get out of their car but rather threw things out of the window?

I have Microsoft Streets and Trips so I first coverted the latittude and longitude given on the FAA notice to decimals then I plugged that into the mapping software. One I had that pinned I then did I three mile radius so you can see the no fly zone and what it covers. Sorry it's small, I didn't want to blow the margins on the page.

Maybe thru the night? I hope that means they are on to something BIG!!!

I don't think we have enough info on where they found what to figure that out. JMO

I am going to go out on a limb here. The little prosthetic leg, (hurts to say) Was found on Chirstie road and verified to belong to ZB.

The bone has not been verified as of yet.

So if this is her they have found. It may not be pieces. (so hard to say)

I'm really starting to believe there might be 2 searches going on at the same time. Dudley near Adrian Triplett (close to Lovely Lady Church), and the area where Dudley/Burns intersect.

ALL SPECULATION ON MY PART.

That's right it's all coming back to me. It is not the church where it looks like, it's one of the houses adjacent to it. I remember having to pull up a parcel map from the city to find it.

Is this the parcel map sarx - I am trying to catch up so if this is not the one forgive me.

Just rewatched the WCNC Broadcast (love a DVR!) and since they don't have link up yet, I will describe. Before the flight restrictions they got pics of 9 guys gathered around what appears to be the side bank. 2 guys had shovels and were sitting on the bank, 2 guys were on their hands and knees and the others were watching. They were appearing to place the top layer of earth, leaves, debris, mulch etc into a large size brown paper evidence bag. This bag is much larger than the ones we have seen in past.
Hope to God they found something.
Please Bring Zahra home..she didn't deserve this.

Well I would imagine they would gather the top soil, debris before any digging would take place. Let's hope that they did find a grave site and not some more bone fragments or lesser evidence.
