When accusing someone of murder, you need evidence to back it up. This has been done several times over in this case.

When accusing someone of corruption, you need evidence to back it up. That has never been done in this case. Tweets aren't evidence nor is innuendo or a dislike of LE.

I understand and agree that if KZ comes up with some major evidence that points at someone else that it should maybe be shared with LE before it goes public or is filed, wouldn't want someone making a run for the border, right? lol But here is the problem.... who does she share that with? Manitowoc County? Calumet? Wisconsin DOJ? Because they have done such a stellar job in the past! Hypothetically, IF she did find something.... she isn't going to share it with any LE that had a hand in the investigation... and there were many hands involved.

Exactly my point! Which then leads me to believe that TH's killer (if it is not SA) will never be brought to justice. :crying::crying:

She did say that she would find the real killer in the process. I think she may work with LE to have that person charged...<sbm>

Absolutely, there are others who should have been thoroughly investigated and ruled out as suspects...<sbm>...However, there's simply no evidence to suggest that they were responsible.

IMO unless she's uncovered something new to substantiate what she's hinting at, those tweets are simply irresponsible and causing untold pain and damage.

It is my understanding that Steven Avery's conviction must be vacated first before any other charges can be brought against another individual -- unless that individual can be shown to be complicit in Avery's crime. So if Zellner has a specific individual in mind, she will keep it under her belt: a leak could seal Avery's life in prison for good.

Oh definitely.
Although I believe that SA is guilty and I've seen nothing so far to persuade me otherwise, I'm basing that opinion on the currently available evidence.

If there had been a more thorough investigation into other viable suspects, then perhaps something would have come to light to shift my opinion the other way or at least introduce some doubt. (not that my personal opinion is very important in the overall scheme of things lol)
On the other hand if all other parties had been cleared it would have really cemented the case against SA.
Either way, it's left things wide open for the situation we're in now.

I just hope that Zellner's investigation has turned up something new to back up the hints in her tweets and she isn't randomly throwing mud to see if anything sticks.

From what I glean from this document (communique) the Manitowoc County Circuit Court Clerk's Office completed a corrected compilation of case 05-CF-381 as of April 4, 2016, and said-record was shipped today, April 6, to the Clerk of the Court Of Appeals. So now, since that record contains 453 documents, it is hard to believe that there will be any immediate, forward movement from Kathleen Zellner unless she is a real speed reader. :whoosh:

I'm not sure Zool... I thought that a time limit is put on it once the Court of Appeals get the records. And I'm not sure that it has even been sent yet because there is more notes on the court records. On April 1st... Second Corrected Compilation of Record, Letter from Attorney Bushnell, Letter from Clerk of Court to parties of action.

Bushnell is the attorney from the Innocence Project that is assisting Zellner.

If I come across it again, I will post, but I know I read 'elsewhere' that it could be beginning of May or mid May at the latest that something would have to be filed (based on the April 6th date), so I'm guessing 30 days. I'm also guessing that they could probably file for an extension ... because that's what lawyers do :giggle: She probably already had copies of most of it, assuming they have internet and a printer, most are online, and have been for quite some time LOL

Now, according to the March 16, 2016, Order for Motion to Correct the Record and for Additional Time to Inspect the Record, the Hon. Angela W. Sutkiewicz writes that the Clerk "shall give 15 days notice to all parties so that they may review the record before it is transmitted to the Court Of Appeals."

So if the Manitowoc Circuit Court Clerk's Office completed the record on April 4, then perhaps by April 19, the said-record will find it's way to the Court Of Appeals?

But as I understand from you, you have seen something dated April 1st regarding all of this; yet I can not find said-reference? The link you provided does not suggest anything in that area...yet. :thinking:

<rolls eyes> That's just about sealed my opinion that this social media campaign has everything to do with stoking public outrage to maintain the profile of the case and absolutely nothing to do with getting real facts out there.

As I said before, I only hope that there's some 'real' investigation and science going on behind the scenes to back up some of these assertions.

BTW despite the shared user name, I can promise you that the Twitter account is absolutely nothing to do with me! LOL

And yes, it sucks, TH lost her life! Not only that, she was BURNED..CHARRED down to NOTHING.

As a mother of a DAUGHTER, I can't imagine what that must feel like.

I think KZ first priority, her passion, will always be wrongful convictions.

I can't help but feel if I were KZ, ( referring to Missy's post ) WHO do you trust in this case?

IMO, she'd be better off delivering the REAL killer TO LE via her own investigative team, rather than trying to work along side that mess.

She did say that she would find the real killer in the process. I think she may work with LE to have that person charged with TH murder. After all, in the end a beautiful young lady lost her life. Which begs the question--is it about wrongful convictions, is it about whether SA is guilty or innocent, is it about who killed TH?

Hit the nail right on the head COOLJ, IMO.

And yet an even greater injustice if those we put in positions of authority are so crooked that they use your murder as retribution to settle an old score. The corruption is so blatant, i have a hard time understanding how some folks don't see it. Thank God for Zellner. At least we know there is someone with at least some semblance of integrity working towards justice for TH.

I accessed her history of PHOTOS and her TWEETS, and determined that 1987 is :cuckoo:. Now I plan not to lose any sleep. :shocked2:

Well, I do believe it is undetermined what actually caused that mark on the dash. It could have been a rag with blood on it, a hand, a glove, no one really knows except the killer.

btw... I read elsewhere that Sarah's tweet saying "faster than winter" was with a picture and it was a Game of Thrones twist on words or something.... I don't watch it LOL but apparently the new season starts in a few weeks.
