someone replied to KZ's last tweet with this:
zellner like tweet.PNG

and she liked it. So if anything can be read into the tweets that she likes.... I'm not sure... but it's always interesting to see which one's she "likes"

KZ tweet from just a few minutes ago:

I'm thinking she is talking about the "blood aging" test.

<rolls eyes> That's just about sealed my opinion that this social media campaign has everything to do with stoking public outrage to maintain the profile of the case and absolutely nothing to do with getting real facts out there.

As I said before, I only hope that there's some 'real' investigation and science going on behind the scenes to back up some of these assertions.

BTW despite the shared user name, I can promise you that the Twitter account is absolutely nothing to do with me! LOL
Totally agree! For someone who uses the words "junk science" when it comes to this case, she seems to be producing some of her own. This is all about keeping the interest up in the case.

All day re-tracing TH steps. No doubt she left Avery property alive. All roads lead to one door & it's not Steven Avery's.#MakingAMurderer

I know a lot of people are upset about Zellner's tweets but she seems so confident! I have a hard time believing she's reviewing all the information and sees any proof of SA's guilt yet still tweeting the way she has been. If she tweets so confident, I can only believe she is confident for true reason. How professional the tweets are is a total different topic.

thanks hippiemom :) I grabbed a screenshot of it!

and I agree, some of her tweets are very confident.... then some are so vague, I wonder LOL this one is interesting.... she seems very confident about TH leaving the property. *sigh* will wait and see ;-)

I try to grab these as soon as I see them.... because well, we know she likes to delete sometimes LOL

I'm embarrassed for her and her "science expert" after seeing their new Twitter profile pics... Beginning to wonder if Zellner has a case of the same thing that plagued David Protess...

anddddddd it's gone, not sure how long it stayed up, but I went back and it was gone! LOL I have no idea why she does that, because she should know that people are taking screenshots at this point! It's kinda odd, why delete it when it will "survive" in a ss anyway?

Someone should just tweet her and ask. See if she responds. lol

I know right LOL I have twitter, but I don't tweet haha I really don't think it's KZ herself tweeting, but maybe it is? It seems that the one's that are super confusing get deleted.... this last one wasn't that confusing though (although I saw some comments about her grammar lol )

If she is trying to be sincere with these tweets she would give some thought before posting them and let them stand. All this editing and deleting gives me the impression that she's playing around and not being very serious with these tweets.

She's definitely the person tweeting. This is clear when one examines the times, days and patterns of her tweets.

That's bothered me for a while now.
I know KZ has taken the stance that she will only defend clients who she genuinely believes are innocent.
And although I have no reason to doubt that, I can't help wondering how far it actually extends.
If at this stage of the game she was to uncover evidence pointing to SA's guilt, would she walk away or is she too deeply embroiled to lose face by backing down now?
Does anyone know if she's set a precedent for that situation?

I really don't know what to make of her.
From what I can gather she has a well deserved reputation and has gained a lot of respect, but there are a lot of things about her current Twitter behaviour that I find deeply disturbing.

I'm absolutely convinced that these tweets are just a game - something to maintain momentum and keep the case in the public eye.

The cheer-leading, confident progress updates I can live with. It's a valid enough tactic to keep public engagement with SA.
The silly tweets and any incorrect information, I'm also kind of OK with. "We" have a choice whether to ignore them or get sucked into the game.
It's the cryptic hints about other possible suspects that really disturb me.
Lots of guessing games and speculation going on about who she might mean.

We all know that there are some strange people out there, and it only takes one person to decide to take things into their own hands - not to mention the damage being done to innocent reputations.

<sbm>...If at this stage of the game she was to uncover evidence pointing to SA's guilt, would she walk away or is she too deeply embroiled to lose face by backing down now?
Sarah ~ See the subsection: "Tatooed On His Arm" in this Newsweek article. I believe her reasoning to broker a deal may have some bearing on your question regarding walking away.
Does anyone know if she's set a precedent for that situation?...<sbm>

And in reference to setting a precedent: I believe Zellner's interview with Crime Time may shed some light. Beginning at footage mark 03:40...,
Crime Time says: "...We also discussed when Ms Zellner first heard about Steven Avery's case..."

Zellner ~ Yes, he had started contacting my office in 2011. And then, the most recent letter I got from him was in September 2015. Then his current girlfriend, Sandy Greenman, had continued to contact me. She told me when I called her that he had told her that he believed of any attorney, the one attorney that he most wanted to represent him was me.

Crime Time ~ We also talked about why Ms Zellner had agreed to represent Steven Avery...She stressed that she would ONLY have agreed to represent Avery if Avery was innocent...Then I asked her what made her think he was innocent?

Zellner ~ It's the evidence. In having had a number of these cases, it has the signature of a wrongful conviction case. They only focused on him. They did not look at a lot of other suspects, certainly some very key people they should've been looking at. There was very poor investigation done of the victim's background, who she was involved with, the circumstances of her life. But it had all of the hallmarks of a wrongful conviction case. And then when I met him, I realized in the time that I've spent with him, I've probably spent now 15 or 20 hours, I just absolutely don't believe that [he] committed this murder. I don't believe he's capable of committing a murder. But that's not the key thing. The key thing was the evidence itself. The evidence is just flawed.

Crime Time ~ Finally, [we] wanted to understand why Kathleen Zellner is so committed to filing civil lawsuits in cases where she believes that there has been a wrongful conviction. Why is a civil lawsuit important along with her action in overturning the verdict?

Zellner ~ Most criminal trials last about a week and there's a very superficial examination of the evidence. The pre-trial motions deal with the constitutional violations. The reason a civil rights trial is so important is, it dissects the criminal trial. The jury becomes incredibly familiar with all of the evidence used to frame someone and then it deals with the entire matter on a constitutional level. My goal, in my career is to affect change through this case law across the country that will prevent these constitutional abuses. And I've found that jurors are amazingly responsive to these issues. So once they understand the criminal case, and they've gone with the evidence, then they understand why it's important that these rights are preserved, due process isn't abused, that the wrong people aren't convicted. So it's an amazing educational opportunity, then that specific case is cited over and over hundreds of times as precedent across the country.

I am in agreement with you, Sarah.
