Zellner Tweets

  • #1,421
Kathleen Zellner: Tweets complete and utter drivel, gets fan's of a "documentary" TV show riled up and later deletes the tweet.

I know today is Groundhog Day but this TV show promoter is so predictable. If Kathleen sees her shadow on February 2nd, her next motion for a six week delay is automatically approved.

I'm curious...What SHOULD Zellner be tweeting?

Vague but optimistic seems to be the right thing to me. *shrugs*

It is a court ruling that results are given simultaneously to both the State and the Defense. It was posted here just recently IIRC that she has said results may be back in March. Therefore, she shouldn't be tweeting about case details at all, nor should case enthusiasts be using her tweets as evidence and purported as facts JMO

I just think KZ's tweets show confidence in what she is doing. She isn't giving out too much information about anything that i can see, and she knows people are waiting patiently to see what happens with all of it. But i know some just don't like her, so i guess the negativity is to be expected.

Are you comparing Kathleen Zellner to a groundhog??

Thanks, Saul😊
Seems just about right to me as well😉
Tbh, I look forward to getting all riled up after reading her tweets! This woman has an AMAZING reputation IMO.
I look forward to seeing each & every tweet to correlate with the outcome of this case😉

Yes, you got that right! IMO Zellner is 100% confident & has been from the beginning😊

Zellner is now known for tweeting then deleting overAndover. For someone so confident she seems unable to write 140 characters and let it stand. The defense brief she filed for SA happens to have numerous errors (I saw the errors detailed on Reddit a few months ago).

While she's had 17 exonerations and has a good record, there have also been a lot of cases she and her firm have not won. (saw a list of those on Reddit at some point).

I would be interested in reading about the cases she has lost if you could provide a link. TIA.
Her deleting tweets is irrelevent really. I don't see the problem with it as i'm sure lots of peeps who tweet do the same thing. Why would it be an issue?

Yes, a link please. Otherwise the comment is completely meaningless. As meaningless as some claim kZ's tweets to be, ironically.

Sounds like her fans are not the only ones getting riled up, if you know what I mean.

I googled about cases KZ has actually lost but didn't really find anything except all the amazing things she has done in her career,
(quote)
One of the most successful trial lawyers of our time, Kathleen Zellner is known for winning multi-million dollar medical malpractice settlements for her clients and freeing innocent people from Illinois' death row. A made-for-tv attorney, Zellner once saved a man on death row by coaxing a woman on the stand to confess that she, and not Zellner's client, had committed the murder.

And this link talks about her career too

Thanks for researching this, Karinna. I'm not surprised that all the information and reviews you found are positive. She is a rock star, IMO.:great: Of course, no one is perfect, so I will continue to wait for the links and articles about cases she may have lost.

Sorry but a desperate for attention television show spokesperson has never caused me to become riled up.

It will not surprise me if/when she finds d herself in a David Protess-like situation.

You're welcome IDK, and i find articles on Ms. Zellner's career very interesting, and yeah she is highly impressive in what she does, and as you say a rock star :) I would think but not sure she has taken Avery's case pro bono as she does pro bono work.
IMO i'm sure her success rate speaks for itself and as they say you can't win 'em all.

Don't worry, she'll be fine. :)

Protess isn't a hugely successful Trial lawyer though, so i don't see the comparison?
And she isn't like Judge Judy, :)

No, when it comes to being a shameless self promoter, Judge Judy doesn't hold a candle to Kathleen Protress...err...Zellner...

I agree Karinna. Also, since DP hasn't actually been convicted of any wrong doing at this time, he is technically innocent. The rest is just noise, IMO. Even if he is guilty, every profession has it's bad apples. Just look at KK.....

Exactly.

I do believe that KZ accomplishes what she wants every time she tweets.

3 days later and even after deleting it... people are still talking about it...
