First of all it's NOT an ethical violation. Not that your hero is the epitome of ethical behavior.

No doubt this television show spokeshole will delete her tweet within hours anyway...

Hi Hastings Chi!!

Just wondering if you are an attorney or in the legal field? I wouldn't know if it was or was not an ethical violation. Just wondering how you would know that?

TIA

Please list her ethical violations. :)

To tell the truth, I'm not sure if an ex-prosecutor (KK lost his job due to his unethical behavior sexually preying on women caught up in the court system) can be held to any professional standards. It's astounding to me he's allowed to practice law at all.

If KK relies on 'inadmissible evidence' in his book, it could be that is the best shot he's got at trying to persuade anyone he's got a case.

My own opinion, naturally enough.

Oddly he didn't lose his job doing anything related to the case where Steven Avery murdered and raped a woman...

Oh well that makes Kratz's sexually predatory behavior acceptable then.

Steven wasn't convicted of rape - the judge threw that charge out due to lack of credible evidence.

But you're right, KK should have lost his job due to his ethical lapses in the prosecution of this case.

The continuing failure to hold prosecutors responsible for wrongful convictions http://scholarlycommons.law.northwestern.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=7573&context=jclc … #Lifeafterten

...and from the paper cited:

THE CHRONIC FAILURE TO DISCIPLINE
PROSECUTORS FOR MISCONDUCT:
PROPOSALS FOR REFORM

THOMAS P. SULLIVAN* &
MAURICE POSSLEY

While most prosecutors adhere to the maxim that their primary task is
to obtain just results, there are some who violate their ethical responsibilities
in order to rack up convictions. This article describes the distressing,
decades-long absence of discipline imposed on prosecutors whose knowing
misconduct has resulted in terrible injustices being visited upon defendants
throughout the country. Many honorable lawyers have failed to speak out
about errant prosecutors, thus enabling their ethical breaches. The silent
accessories include practicing lawyers and judges of trial and reviewing
courts who, having observed prosecutorial misconduct, failed to take
corrective action. Fault also lies with members of attorney disciplinary
bodies who have not investigated widely publicized prosecutorial
misconduct.

This was just retweeted by KZ: a picture of the letter KZ sent to DL in response to Kratz's latest allegations prior to last night's show. Apparently only one sentence was shown on the show:

I didn't watch the show, I usually find them overly sensationalistic However if this show presented any new information or case facts that I should be aware of, please let me know and I can watch it online.

These are the prosecutors who taint the public's perceptions and make it harder for the good ones to do their job. The article describes a bunch of good ole' boys all protecting each other. SMH.

Thanks for posting this IDK!!!

If there was only 1 call between TH and SA on 10/10/05, in which TH initiated the call, then I guess that rules out the speculation that SA was the perpetrator of the annoyance calls to TH leading up to the day she died.

It was a hustle shot... so wouldn't SA had to have called her too? I wonder if he left a message and she called him back and it's the only time they actually "spoke" on the phone? But you are right BCA.... I guess we can take SA off the list of who was harassing TH.

I liked the "We will be able to demonstrate exactly how the evidence was planted in the early part of the investigation." part ;-)

Oh, and another note... the person that KZ retweeted is a reddit poster.

I have not watched the show yet, but I did see the above 'letter' in a clip yesterday from the Today show, I figured they would have shown more on the Dateline show, but I guess not?
