Judge Lisa Munyon asking questions . . . way in which KC invoked 5th . . .claimed her 5th to not implicate 5th priviledge . . . . doesn't believe she has right to plead 5th. Court said this has been settled for 50 years. . . . does it apply? Case law on how it applies in this particular case. She could be further criminated and jeapordy could apply.

??? Sorry, I don't understand this post at all. What has been settled for 50 years? The right to invoke? What in short did the judge say on this? Thanks.

Never mind. Quicky Google gives answer. Casey Anthony's 5th-ed up depo will be allowed to stand, the 5th is sacrosanct, nothing Green can say will trump the Constitution.

And actually, looking at the big picture, that is as it should be.

Ya know, there are just a few too many coincidences with this bunch for my comfort. I hope that someone is going to make sure there is no connection to any of the A's. I still remember that ugly message that CA left for TM, saying he better not go up against the A family cause he would lose. That it was not a threat, it was a promise. I remember the phone call that AH received telling her in a raspy, disguised voice to drop the charges and no one would get hurt. Now we have ZG being held up at gunpoint. Those are serious charges. I can't imagine those two men NOT rolling on someone IF they were hired to do this. They will be looking at some pretty major time. JMO

I'm hoping it was FCA and JB. Then she would be violating her probation! :great:

I'd like to see it be CA! I would love to see her get her come-uppance!

Yes! hehe! Now he can play the victim too.

ZFG sure has guts to pick up her phone and call 911 when you have a gun in your face. I don't think she's making it up, but wow I don't know if I would be that brave! Although from what she's been through with just the FCA case I can understand.

For those of you wondering how Casey could possibly make an argument on appeal that the lying convictions should be entirely set aside for insufficient evidence, my assumption is that the argument will be the same one made by Mason in his motion for directed verdict. (That's the oral motion the defense made after the prosecution rested.) IIRC he said that there was insufficient evidence of the lies because the evidence (Casey's statements) should have been tossed out based on the Miranda warning violation.

I know. Right? I would have had muddy pants for sure. She's not as stupid as Greene would like us to believe is she? Anyway, what a very brave thing to do... You rock ZG :rocker:.

Thank you AZ. I personally think this should be his argument.....
To lie, or not to lie, that is the question:
Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind (of FCA) to suffer
The Slings and Arrows of outrageous Fortune, (or the
Florida State Attorney’s office),
Or to take Arms against a Sea of troubles, (All those horrible people STILL trying to persecute the innocent Ms. Anthony),
And by opposing end them (once and for all on a verdict on appeal):
to die, to sleep
No more; and by a sleep, to say we end
The heart-ache, and the thousand Natural shocks (caused by the Pinellas 12 wrong verdict)
That Flesh is heir to? 'Tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wished. To die to sleep,
To sleep, perchance to Dream (of a La Bella Vita lost to FCA forever);
Ay, there's the rub,
For in that sleep of death, what dreams may come (nightmares about Caylee we can only hope),
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause. There's the respect
That makes Calamity of so long life: La Bella Vita
