We should probably hold off on all the judgement re:adderall until its known what the dosage is and whether or not its the instant release or the extended release. I take the XR, and my understanding is more and more ppl are getting switched over to the XR. You get the intended effects of the medicine without the dopamine rush if you take a consistent dosage 1x/day. Its much easier to abuse the IR, since they can be broken up into halves or quarters. We should also remember that extreme side effects of Rxs tend to affect a small % of users and if a Dr is told those are occuring they will usually try to find an alternative.
