On one of the TH shows last night, a good friend of TA's was interviewed. He said they went shooting often & TA very much enjoyed it. He said a .25 was "good for nothing," in so many words, and said he was sure TA would consult him before buying a handgun. And this guy (sorry, can't remember the program or his name -- duh) said he would recommend a handgun much more powerful -- a .45 or .38 or whatever. He seemed knowledgeable & sincere.

ETA: He also said that, to his knowledge, TA did not own a gun, and he added that he was sure TA would consult him before he did and that TA would let him know as soon as he had gotten one.

He also said he was POSITIVE Travis did not own a gun.

Since what two people do in the bedroom unobserved can never be known with certainty we can speculate until the cows come home. JA is an inveterate liar and TA is dead.

They may have merely simulated sex ; then again maybe not. They may have engaged in even more kinky sex play or maybe not.

We will never know.

BUT my bet is that TA was a horny 30 year old male that was introduced to “kinky sex” by JA. Based on the audio tapes TA freely spoke about pornographic grade sex play with JA. It would seem that TA had seen his share of *advertiser censored*. Though it is noteworthy that no *advertiser censored* sites were accessed on his “borrowed laptop” computer. In any case based on TA” s conversation with JA it is likely that they engaged in genuine authentic oral anal and even vaginal sex. Also based on the trial pictures of the nude JA one readily notes the gapping size of her vagina and anus. Something or somebody with a pretty large instrument penetrated these orifices.

My hunch is JA was on birth control pills so she needn’t have relied on TA or other male penetrators to use condoms.

I agree - if I take the tapes at face value. But, with this chic - everything is a role and a script from somewhere and I guess there is a part of me that thinks TA could have spoken of the games, role playing stories as reality because JA trained him and instructed him to do so. Like don't act like it is not real, it turns me off and he played the game. So the stories are always spoken about as real events - not fantasy at her direction.
I know it is as big of a stretch as evidence photos of a certain liar, but if she proves nothing else, I want her caught not being able to prove this.

Yeah - I believed in the Easter Bunny longer than most too - but this bothers me for TA and his family and bothers me if they are using this as part of the ongoing horrible abuse. But even if every juror believes it happened - I think her own words have shown time and time again, she was no where near as repulsed by this as her a̶c̶t̶o̶r̶, I mean attorney was/is for trial purposes.

Very telling, indeed. She claims she owned a gun at the time 9mm and she did not buy that until after his death. So that is a lie. Also she states, "She'd be shaking in her boots in fear of God if she was involved in killing Travis." So, everytime she claims to be shaking like a little dog when Travis was angry was she actually shaking in anger. And, of course, she said she never killed Travis. Hope this gets played, too. I can see Juan now with a handful of CD's with snips from this interview. lol jmo

I cannot imagine the kind of sleep Travis family had last night knowing what is coming today. How she attempts to pull this story off one can only imagine. She is a really sick individual. There have been times that I actually felt a little sorry for her- the more she talks, that has disappeared.

I do wish however that something could be gleaned from her that could actually be used to help someone in the future. Help someone get help before this becomes the outcome, help parents to get help before their child ends up in jail for murder and on the front page of tabloid magazines or newspapers, help someone recognize early that they are dealing with someone with the potential for violence before it is too late, and help the courts actually help those people who are actually in danger.

In that sense is why I care to hear about Jodi... why I want the puzzle pieces of her life to be put back together- honestly- so we can have a clearer picture of how and why this went down. If the statistics are true, that 1 in 25 people are a sociopath then we better begin paying attention. And, if it is true that most of these people never go on to seriously physically harm or murder someone, then it would be useful information to know the why's and the how's of how it goes seriously wrong, when it does. Not just in some NewYork Times best seller, or some abnormal psych class for college students or law enforcement.

We better start talking about these sorts of things much sooner, in an age appropriate setting, and with a dialogue before our children get out of high school and start to seriously date and engage in long term friendships and relationships. I would much rather have the conversation about sex with my children at home, and have them learn about issues such as these before they go out into the world and are ill prepared when confronted with them.

Just venting about how do we make meaningful changes... thanks for letting me vent.

As a society I don't think we can afford to just lock them up and throw away the key, we better start looking at what we can do to help or prevent these things from occurring. Just like preventative medicine. We have to begin to look for some answers, MOO.

I hope when they were picking the jury, they asked- have you are a family member ever experienced domestic violence. This type of person should not have been picked. But, too, it seems a person who HAD experienced it, would see thru her lies. Her story doesn't make sence.

I think Jodi brought the soft rope with her for a new sex game to tie Travis up, and maybe try to convince him to be her boyfriend and take her to Cancun, but he wasn't into like she thought he would be.

OOOH...your post made me thing that perhaps JA did, in fact, bring rope with her. Possibly she tied him up for sexcapades, and then pulled the gun on him while he was tied, then took command and made him go into the shower and we all know what happened from there.
