The only way to close that fast in Florida right now is to have some serious connections or make a cash purchase. He sold the house at a $50k loss from what he paid, when most property values have doubled to tripled. He sold it for a little more than half of what Zillow estimates.
TK also sold his New Hampshire home in mid-April, to the same person.

And the buyer, is his new attorney who just filed a notice of appearance yesterday….

TK did not sell his Tarpon Springs home. TK is currently listed as the deed owner.
There is a recent loan recorded against the property. At the end of May, TK mortgaged his residential property for $900,000 with his attorney's PA (a FL corporation) listed as the Mortgagee.
TK did sell his New Hampshire home in April to BB, PA for $273,900.

Thank you for clarifying. The document would not open on my phone and mortgage was cut off to make it look like a sale. It would have been better if he had sold it. With his attorney holding a mortgage on his home, that gives him a financial interest in the outcome of his case.

This was the motion hearing the week after his arrest. His attorney kept asking why no one called to see why TK was not at the hearing. Pointing out that the Judge and the attorneys present knew that TK was in jail, and why they did contact him knowing that the motions were important to TK. MOO

How does it work in Florida?
Will the court set a trial date at the pre trial on 10/5/23 or is that just for pre trial motions?

On this Florida Department of Health page listing actions taken against practitioners, TRK is listed once (case 202222400) for consistent failure to pay a yearly $250 fee to the Florida Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Association. This fee is required from every doctor in the state, with certain exceptions that TRK does not qualify for. He failed to pay from 2017 to 2021. He was sued (I think?) in early 2022 and didn't respond. The final action, i.e., some kind of suspension/revocation of license, fines, or probation, was authorized after his arrest.

A suspicious person and car were seen around the law office, and a search of Kosowski’s Tarpon Springs home found evidence that linked him to the murder, police said, though further information was not yet disclosed.

Blanchard Law has been representing Kosowski’s former employer, the Laufer Institute for Plastic Surgery, and co-workers in a lawsuit he lodged against them four years ago and is still dragging on.

BTW, with billing, most often it is not "messing up" but dishonest billing. Siphoning off someone's money is surprisingly easy to do so in the Internet time. But... i don't understand why a successful plastic surgeon (nr 2 best-paying profession among doctors in the US) would aim at suing former colleagues, an organization, essentially, instead of probably seeing to it that all other providers or fiancial institution this biller might apply to are protected from the person's dishonesty? And 15K is really not worth the time and effort, unless the doctor indirectly wanted to switch the blame for the botched boob job onto the organization he was previously employed by? Or maybe it was so that no colleague stood by Mr. TK and other office managers took the biller's side? He must have had a harsh personality. I can imagine the conflict, I can't imagine that TK put his whole career and life at stake. And then progressed with the murder. It is not equivalent to the initial situation.

Does Dr. T has Bells palsy? Did this pushed him towards plastic surgery? Very sad that he ruined his life and career, but it is not poor Mr. Cozzi's fault that Mr. T got a bad biller.
