Indiana inmates bought keys from jailer, raped and assaulted female prisoners

who did they seize meth and pot from???

The raids mark the second time Indiana State Police have searched for evidence at New Chapel’s fire houses. ISP also arrested David Price at New Chapel’s Fire Station One at 5820 Utica Pike. He was booked into the Clark County jail on charges of possessing meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

IMO, he may not be connected to the Jamey Noel corruption case, just got himself busted during the search.

Larry Wilder is Jamey Noel's attorney. This is one of the defining moments of his public life from 15 years ago.

Thanks for that and the MS link.
I would not have thought to search his name; I'm not familiar with contempt cases.

I literally just realized this judge is presiding over the Cairo Jordan case in his home court.

Thanks for the update and posting the judge's decision.
That's very helpful in understanding the difference between direct contempt and indirect contempt.

That one would be a tough pill to swallow.MOO

That's an interesting choice, isn't it? Is that someone the judge will consider neutral?

This is the part that I don't get; surely someone saw that and thought it should be looked into?

"Investigators also found 133 vehicles, seizing dozens of them, that were registered through the Utica Fire Department and New Chapel EMS, including a Charger Hellcat, Escalades and a Corvette Stingray."

Clark Co. was one of the jails that participated in A&E's 60 Days In. I watched that one. IIRC that was the one where one of the participants went into it thinking he wanted to go into law enforcement. However, after his stay, he decided he would rather go into some other line where he could advocate for the accused.

I'm wondering how he paid for the 133 vehicles? I assume he used county funds like he did for nearly everything else. Also, since the $7m in government surplus isn't in the trailers, where is it?

Another issue is where are the auditors? As far as I know, here in Ohio government entities are audited annually including all government property records. Either the state does the audit or they approve the outside accounting firm that does it.
