WATONGA The body of Rosalin Reynolds was found by her father in a field behind their apartment building in the 500 block of Leach Street about 5 a.m. today according to Jessica Brown, Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman.
James Daukei Jr., 20, of Watonga, was arrested without incident at 9:48 a.m. on State Highway 8 about 2 ½ miles north of Watonga, according to Watonga Police Chief John Massey.
The victim was acquainted with the suspect, Blaine County Sheriff Rick Ainsworth said. Ainsworth said investigators are interviewing the suspect, the child's family and other witnesses.

A man identified by the OSBI as Daukei was with the girl and ran from the scene when confronted by the father and two other men.
Brown said Rosalin's mother woke up early this morning and discovered that her daughter was missing. The family began to search the apartment building, knocking on doors, and the father took a flashlight and went to the nearby field where he found her, Brown said.
