investigation led us to evidence that both Blake and London are deceased. This morning we arrested Avantae Deven.

she is charged with two counts of murder, two counts of child abuse, counts of concealment of death and counts of abduction? I amy not have heard that right.

Brother was having mental health crisis (Deven's brother) is the orignial call that brought on this investigation.

Wow! Brother said he had not seen Blake in 5 years and that he was dead. They were kept in dark rooms, and given little to no food. They were beaten to the point of needing medical care, but they received insufficient care. The children were starved and abused. Per the presser.

This is horrific.

London died in teh next home, others in the household were forced to assist in the disposal of London's remains. Burn barrel partial remains found. two sperate partial sets of remains were found. They were consistent with Blake and London

I knew it. from day one I knew it. Still breaks my heart. We have to do better with oversight of vulnerable children beign adopted out. The adoption should not be the end of the story. These agencies that place vulnerable already at risk children with new families should be required to check up on them after the adoption.
