I don't think the car rental has been verified. The woman who posted the info has never been back, LE has not reported it and I can't find any articles saying that he rented a car.........

I know that someone posted that he rented a car, but was that ever confirmed?

Should probably look for that car on craig's list, too. After all this publicity they might want to get rid of it quickly.
