I read the whole thread to see if this has been mentioned. A lot of you heard "pushed some gobs" and not "pushed some guys." I looked up gobs and apparently it can stand for good ol' boys. For what it's worth!
I have been messaging with the documentarian mentioned earlier in the thread. She told me there is a letter by Connie's brother stating she was 5'7" and 165 pounds. Also, it is not known for sure if she ever had the recommended hysterectomy.
However, she agrees this Jane Doe is an interesting...
Also has anyone checked missing people in England. Connie was in England for six months not too long before she disappeared. Annandale is only half an hour from Dulles airport so it's possible she was overseas and just wanted to die in the US

I personally think it is a good facial match. And there's something about the way she was found that just feels right for Connie.

Here is a better matchup. I forgot I had flipped Connie's picture horizontally in the first one. So this one should be more accurate. Connie's photo is overlaid at 50% transparency and I tried to match the angle and size of the eyes. Thoughts?
OK, I did my first attempt at a photo overlay with Connie's photo on top and the noses aligned and matched for size as much as possible. One thing that strikes me as different is that Connie has a very short philtrum, i.e. the space between nose and mouth. That is not a match, but forward tilt...
Also the ears--earlobes are very distinct. Connie's are not pierced and JD wore clip-ons, which is not that uncommon for women of that generation. But whether the earlobes are attached or detached can be very telling.
Without a profile it would be hard to know, because Connie's nose was big. I think this is the best front-on photo of her: http://www.howardfishman.com/storage/CC_Slide_21.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1391655715764
And this is the best profile...
I am bumping this old thread because this body was found on my street about one month after we bought our house and moved in. Nice welcome to the neighborhood that was! (We don't live there anymore)
One thing to know about the location--it is right off the highway. If you were to get off the...
One outcome of the discussion of Connie Converse is I now have one of her songs stuck in my head and it will not leave! She was not the best singer but her songs were really interesting.
I studied her pics online last night and she appears to be on the short side, but 5 feet is pretty tiny.
I think the facial resemblance and the educated, literary quality of the things left behind (except the tapes, which are kind of lowbrow) fit this picture.
I can see a scenario where she...
I was wondering how they could possibly tell, but I bet it was from stomach contents.
I am very glad they are now using the word depression. It is so important for people to understand what a terrible disease depression is. It does not define a person's quality, that is for sure, and Leanne...
We know she was stressed and anxious. The suicide seems likely now. The depression is speculation based on my own experience.
Suicidal ideation is a more accurate term.

It makes perfect sense to me. The scheduled interview could have pushed her to the breaking point. If you have never suffered from severe anxiety or suicidal depression, it would be harder to understand. I have, and this scenario is thoroughly plausible.
Again, I posted this before, but she may...
