Yeah, I couldn't believe it, either. That and their refusal to speak to their parents -- it's just a slap in the face. I don't even think they've contacted their brother, but I've stopped following it, so who knows.
I think it would be great if John is Steven, but I am reserved.
How can there be DNA evidence between Perez and the Zodiac? I thought she was adopted? Here's an article that mentions it:

I think the man's parents have claimed that they are his biological parents.
I didn't think about the lack of photography in the 50s. My parents were children in the 50s, and although there aren't many photos of them as babies, I have seen several of each from different family members.
I'm really curious about this one. Steven Damman was nearly 3 when he disappeared. If this man's parents were his biological parents, they would have three years worth of baby pictures to prove it.
I keep reading that there is a strong family resemblance. I wonder if they will ever publish a...
Both my aunt and my father visited northern Europe several years ago (80s/90s). Both said that it was very common to see lines of prams outside of stores. I wonder if this is still a common practice? I know I couldn't do it. I had a friend who used to leave her baby in the car while she "ran...
One of the articles said that the man and Pamela have had their DNA checked privately, and that the DNA said that they are probably related. Now the FBI is checking their DNA. Maybe this private DNA test is the information that makes the father think it is probably his son?
I hope it is. I...
This has happened before in Oregon. I remember when I was a kid there was a news story about a young child (alive) who had been found in a roadside toilet.
It takes a special kind of evil to throw away your baby. And in a place where people relieve themselves, no less.
The law is fuzzy. This guy faces prison time, yet that guy who died with Jacob Wetterling videos in his house was told by his therapist that drawing boys in sexual acts was a safe outlet for him. Didn't the police even say they didn't think he was a threat?
Some manga is weird and...
When I read the thread title, I thought it was an update on the baby who had been found in Florida covered with ants. It is very disheartening to see yet another story of an abandoned baby. Does human life mean nothing anymore? Why have a baby only to toss it aside?
Mr. Mr. E and I have often kept odd hours during a move, especially when the kids were little.
Something's fishy with this story, though, for sure. The mom's story just doesn't sound right.
I can't believe the "father" will be up for parole. He should spend the rest of his life in prison.
Hooray for Brryan. He sounds like a neat kid who overcame a more than rough start in life.
While I hope that the parents can be found so they can be punished, I am always so worried that babies will be returned to homes when they would be so much better off being adopted and raised by parents who love them.
They said on the Today show that this was a possiblity as well, although they said there was no way to know. They said that take offs and landings are the worst time for planes because that's the time when most things happen. Things happening during flight are rare, and one of the...
That baby is a miracle. Who knows what the circumstances surrounded her abandonment are, but I am always amazed that there isn't an instant bond of some sort between all women and their babies. My last baby was a surprise, and I didn't feel the same excitement and anticipation for her as I did...
I heard on the Today show this morning that the plane was a type that could, and I may have this confused, but it sounded like it could become airtight, which means there is a chance that the passengers are awaiting rescue on the ocean somewhere. I really hope that is the case.
