DH just reminded me that last weekend, one of our 11-yo son's friends had invited him to go with his family to Six Flags today, but I was on call all last weekend for work and we wanted some family time this weekend, so we declined for him to go. Thank the Lord....he might have seen this...

I deeply apologize for any suspicions I may have had of the uncle. I really do. In a case like this, you tend to try hard to find any clue at ALL and sadly, so many cases HAVE turned out to be family-related. I am so worried for Brooke and so sad for her family...may she be found safe soon...

That part is really hinky to me. It really is. I don't suppose the uncle is a POI at this time? Did the mother know that Brooke was being dropped off like this? I also don't get how a child of that age is dropped off at a convenience store, of all places, to meet a friend to go that far...

From that last MySpace link it looks as though she was trying to get to Texas...she says "I can't wait to get to Texas" or something like that. Maybe any clothing they found she left scattered on purpose to make them think she was abducted and hurt/killed...to buy herself more time?

I'm a Catholic & I'm normally against abortion, but this is one of those scenarios where I am torn. If she DOES give birth, they need to put her to sleep and deliver the baby by c-section...by NO means should she have to go through labor and a vaginal delivery, she is a mere baby herself...
