    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 2nd July - Trial Day 14, Week 3

Well he won't be changing his plea to guilty as he won't gain anything by doing that. Not for murder in Qld. Has to be unanimous. I agree. An application would need to be made to legal aid and they make a decision based on the grounds of the appeal and prospects of success. I...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 2nd July - Trial Day 14, Week 3

Just caught up for the day. The prosecution would have to be thrilled with the evidence of Dr Robertson as under cross examination he confirmed the prosecutions equivalent witness. They would also have to be very happy with the last witness as all he could really say was Allison had suffered...

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 2nd July - Trial Day 14, Week 3

The prosecution called NBC and OW ( they would have had a subpoena to attend) because they were first on the scene so to speak therefore it is in the interests of fairness of presenting the case that they got to have their evidence on record. Even if this means that some of what they say may not...

That is possible. Good thinking. I don't know if it would be substantially less though.

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 1st July - Trial Day 13, Week 3

After the last defence witness, the defence then closes their case and does their closing statement. Then the prosecution will do their closing statement. Then the judge gives instructions to the jury. The jury then retires to consider their verdict. That could take a few days as there is a lot...

    Trial Discussion Thread #44 - 14.07.1-2, Day 34-35

Regardless of the outcome, I think OP's career as an athlete is over though he may need a book agent and ghost writer.

    Trial Discussion Thread #43 - 14.06.30 Day 33

Me too and the evidence today about there being no room beside the bed for Allison to plug the phone in the charger felt a lot the same. Chargers, cords, treadmills but alas no fans!

You are right, that was in the bail hearing docs but since then, in the trial it has been confirmed as being substantiated. Edit. Marly I have a distinct recollection of it being ruled out. Does anyone else. It's not in the agreed facts as I just checked.

    The Crown v Gerard Baden-Clay, 1st July - Trial Day 13, Week 3

Re the cut on his palm I believe this was confirmed by the prosecution as being substantiated. I have been thinking about the pyjamas and the question Mr fuller asked GBC about are they in the photo. It would have been a pointless question to ask if GBC could have answered, no they are not in...

So she could have plugged it in her side but seems he took it off the charger on his side. Did he specifically say that today?

Maybe the pyjamas were disposed of with the phone during the drive at 7 am. The police were searching industrial bins at Indooroopily from media reports early in the case. The only reason the pyjamas would be disposed of that I can think of is that they contain evidence of Allisons death...

Maybe the missing pyjamas will be another smoking gun in addition to the scratches?
