Each time the can gets kicked down the road, even though I know every case goes through the same tactics, I "can't help hoping" that this one is different. e.g. that a plea is being bargained; an admission to shorten the ordeal, though not ideal either. Thanks for posts that ground us, clearing...
Yes, we can agree to disagree; and that's good for everyone.
I was once on a jury, eager to serve; though now I'd refrain if possible whenever summoned. (Well, maybe a WS ;) jury?)
Your name is someone I often agree with; so I also hope
hope we have reassuring detail surface beforehand. Yet wouldn't best prosecution include strong evidence introduced fresh to jury with judge presiding? I do not agree that he'll be convicted whether guilty "or not."
*This is bringing to...
I agree this caller's statement is of merit, tho IDK of it's significance either. His "down-to-Earth" report of work-timing could be filling-in a picture of what was there, and not.
Some fuzzy contradictions about other sightings might be dismissed. (Does anyone recall how many saw a PT...
Thanks for all responses on the topic of early-news report of black outfit/"backpack" guy, including 'steeltowngirl' too. I'd long thought that second sketch reveal might be him, the guy who appeared younger...so I'm combining and confusing also.
Today it's poignant how so many here continue...
Discussion about what witnesses reported at the time hasn't been including one I remember. I have no link to take us back.
A lone, young, all-in-black male with a black backpack was reported 'leaving?'. Perhaps he has been explained?
Anyone from early days remember mention of sighting?
This post is well thought through, so just adding that the girls first saw 'him' before the bridge, as mentioned by Abby's mother, (on the phone recording). A. asked "is that creepy guy still following us?" (After over 5 years it's hard for us to recall all that
has come to light; we want the...
Early in the case, the mother of one victim spoke to interviewer about what she was shown, so "more video" may come from that. This interview was online five years ago. Being careful of TOS and "family", she described to the end of bridge, not further.
Probably if you were a detective on this case right now you would know what was discovered in searching RA's property, including his shed and that hole neighbors saw dug in the yard. You'd know why RA and wife sat in cars multiple hours while their house was forensically examined for evidence...
I still hope for a plea. Abby and Libby were so very young and vulnerable to a_shots preying, don't want the picture painted in court.
And yes, Starry night, the difference between 3 weeks and five years for a case to court has taken a further toll on family, community and justice...
Is it different now listening to Liberty German's sister, Kelsi,
interviewing Doug Carter about his heading the investigation for three years after the Delphi murders, or what would be 'half-way' in time to solving?
I am very interested in any walking and talking comparisons. Think we're at our best here when we invite perception and POV of others with something to work from (and yes, sources); rather than "What if" and "Maybe" which can take us farther afield. Surely there have been high-tech comparisons...
Over the years, Carter's quote "you want to know what we know"*** seemed but hollow bluff to me. This opens my eyes, "StarryNight". It does fit RA's grocery store fishing the CO. in case he was seen there. Now, "directly to the killer who may be in this room;" do we know whether or not RA did...
Not to argue over a word, yet 'involved', in a dictionary, does apply to KK's known activity. Agreeing we do not know if KK was "in cahoots" with RA's plan. Do we fully know about dropbox use? Agree we don't know KK's extent of involvement (defined as 'consequential effect, to bring or cause')...

Well, like BTK, the killing itself could be what the suspect is sexually attracted to -- as opposed to being a pedo... and to
"AC4RD" also: ...their motivations.
I was living in Wichita Kansas during 'BTK', and had a source in policing. I was terrified! Typing this now brings...
Good question. I remember an FBI agent generated PCA; some thought she went overboard, widening search. First crime scene details came to mind from items sought. Cannot recall release reasoning. Wishing I'd have created desktop folders, for some details linger, though sources do not, hindering...
About animal hair, wonder if there was transfer from wife to car,
since she worked for vet clinic. I've mentioned this before as long shot. It would fill in a picture of what was meant by the "tentacles" of the case. Just one small detail among a thousand
and a yet a lot more work to...
Wow for how pragmatic this fresh point; just hadn't thought of it myself over five long years of RL questions. I've maintained he was not as suspicious, and possibly prey to bad character of friends.
