the loft hatch was actually at the top of the stairs in the one i lived in and you're nearly right about the sizes, hatch was about 36 inches square but there would be no way you could fit a loft ladder, i used to use a normal ladder and it actually blocked access to 2 rooms while the ladder was...

This should give you more of an idea This is where she was seen on the Thursday These are the shops on the estate she was visiting And those shops stretch as far to the right this pic as you can see

there are actually less shops available to a kid her age where she was seen on the thursday. there are only about 10 shops there. where the other CO-OP is theres a massive parade of shops which would have a lot more choice for a 12 yr old girl.

There's a very good reason as to why they put certain people and not others in front of the TV cameras.

Just to clarify things a bit The one she was seen at is out of the way in my opinion as the bus or tram she would have been on while on the way to her Grandmothers house would have stopped within feet of the one on the estate. Also it wouldn't have been as far to walk back from either. Edit...

The reason i said that was because at no point was it mentioned that he had a car or could even drive and that would be the only reason to go to that particular CO-OP, if he did drive then it wouldn't be so much out of the way but as i understood it they were using public transport.

I honestly think that being on TV was his ultimate downfall. Did he not realise how many people would be watching his every move during that interview especially ? I get chance to be on TV quite a lot because of the job i do but you'll never see me in front of a TV camera as i avoid them...

As i mentioned before, i've only been back to that estate once since i left and that was last Monday, i needed to go to Iceland and the one there was the only one open at 9pm. I've since been past the road at the bottom of the estate quite a few times since then as my kids live in that area...

as i said in my earlier massive post, the things we remember when it comes to things like this are usually only after an incident has happened. if she had actually gone missing and he had nothing to do with it he would have had a hard time remembering what he did that day but he was just...

the one in the house i lived in was almost 3 feet long and there's a lot you can hide behind something even that size when there's a line of sight involved.

then i'll just assume that those two are a bit more stupid that we assumed they were.

the first time i went up into the loft in the house i lived in it was so dark up there i could hardly see much even with a torch but you could make out the end of the roof etc. the only part you couldn't really see was in the line of site of the water tank that was probably about 10 feet or...

this makes me wonder if the pre-planned search was only known to the police as opposed to the family knowing about it. i'm sure if he'd been told they were going to rip the house apart he wouldnt have been walking round the shops.

but then why was he going from shop to shop handing out leaflets if he knew the game was up, why not just run as far as he could and lay low ? or was he so drunk that he'd blocked out the fact that he'd had something to do with her death (had to choose my words carefully there) but then as...

I lived on the estate where this happened 2006/07 and lived about 3 or 4 roads away from where the murder happened. I've read pretty much every post on here and other forums, plus i've been glued to the news ever since this kid was first reported missing. There are a few things that have made...
