Identified! UT - Beaver Co., WhtFem UP12045, 18-40, on train, Jan'14 - Amber Brown

I agree with Astrokitty. The first thing I thought when I saw the UID's teeth was that she smoked cigarettes and/or weed, and she hadn't had a professional cleaning in a long time. I can't even tell if that's decay or just nicotine staining. The abrasions on her face make me think that she...

TX TX - Houston, WhtFem 20-30, 92UFTX, crude tattoos on hands, clothes, plaid skirt in purse, Mar'83

Nancy appears to have a smaller nose. There doesn't seem to be much of a resemblance between her and the UID IMO.

CA CA - Marin Co., WhtMale UP11920, 40-50, in bay near GG Bridge, May'94

Very true. Also, some blonde hair can look brown when it's wet.

It makes me sad to read that there aren't dental records or DNA available for this UID. He was found in '94; it seems like taking dental x-rays and a DNA sample should have been common procedures by that point in time. SF is definitely not lacking in funds.

Identified! AZ - Yavapai Co, 'Little Miss Nobody', WhtFem 6-7, UP10741, Jul'60 - Sharon Lee Gallegos

I have my doubts that this is Myrisha. For this UID to be her, she would of had to have been kept alive for almost two years after her father abducted her and then murdered by someone other than her father. Also, the UID is estimated to be at least a year older than Myrisha would have been in...

If the taxi driver was at all involved in her death, I doubt he would have bothered coming forward with the information that he provided. In those days taxis didn't have cameras inside of them, so it's unlikely that anyone would have ever known that he drove her there that night. Her actions...

TX TX - Lisa Eubanks, 17, Texarkana, 15 Jan 1999

While MDMA was the most popular drug at raves, people would also use LSD, ketamine, GHB, cocaine, and even meth. It really depended upon what your personal tastes and boundaries were. I personally just wanted to "expand" my mind and enjoy the music, but some people were addicted to hard drugs...

TX TX - Lisa Eubanks, 17, Texarkana, 15 Jan 1999

The clothing that she was last seen in, flared JNCO pants and a Cat in the Hat style hat, make me think that she may have attended a rave that night. I was involved in that scene during the late 90's, and that was a common style worn by ravers. That would also lend to the theory that she was...

Identified! UK - Bolton, Female, 18-25, found in woods, Oct'13 - Rebecca May

Her remains had been there awhile, so the devices could have been damaged by the elements.

Identified! PA - Berks Co., 2 WhtFems, photos in hangar, 1968-69 - Martha & Sandra Stiver

Eways sure lucked out. He also served only five years for shooting and killing a 17-year-old boy that was involved with harassing him. Unbelievable!

I really hope that the judge approves the exhumation. As the article posted above points out, even if the UID isn't Nelda, the DNA will be available to compare to other possible matches. An exhumation would be a win-win situation for everyone IMO.

General Questions, discussions, briefings, newbies, etc.

I apologize if this question has already been answered, but I wasn't able to find it. Why are the dental charts for UIDs no longer publicly displayed on NAMUS? I thought that was the most useful feature on that website.

CA CA - Daly City, WhtFem 25-30, UP9938, forced OD, strangled, Jan'87

I assume that she had a large amount of pills in her stomach, so it would have either been a case of forced overdose or suicide. Because she was also strangled, that would have ruled out suicide IMO. It seems like overkill; why force someone to overdose if you're going to strangle them...

Match! NY - Caledonia, WhtFem 1UFNY, 13-19, Turquoise Necklace, Nov'79 *Tammy Alexander*

The top surface area of a molar is called the crown, so it could be that the natural surface of her molar was worn through. It may not mean that she had a man-made crown put in by a dentist.

UNSOLVED CA - San Francisco, Human foot washed ashore at Ocean Beach, Sep'13

It's shocking how many people jump off of the Golden Gate Bridge. I've read that an average of two people jump a month, and those are just the ones witnessed by other people or caught on surveillance video. If someone jumps off at night, their body can be pulled out with the tide and lost in the...

I remember noticing in the video that all of the windows were still up, and then I read in the CNN article that all of the Camaro's windows were rolled down. Gos to show that news outlets can get their facts wrong. Makes me wonder if what CNN said about the Camaro entering the water backwards...

UNSOLVED CA - San Francisco, Human foot washed ashore at Ocean Beach, Sep'13

The Golden Gate Bridge is north of Ocean Beach. I wonder if this foot belonged to an unrecovered suicide victim from the bridge?

Identified! OH - North Bend, 'Pearl Lady' 606UFOH, 55-75, Nov'06 - Barbara Precht

The MP's ears look larger than the UID's. Overall, there seem to be enough differences that I don't think it's a match. There is a good resemblance though, IMO.

Identified! MI - Detroit, BlkFem 1024UFMI, 35-55, in vacant house, Jun'10 - Name not found

Is it possible that Carlita wore a partial denture and didn't wear it all of the time? The UID was missing quite a few teeth in her upper jaw antemortem. Carlita also looks young for 56.

I think I've seen men named Eunice before. Sure enough, the name is given to both genders: http://www.nameplayground.com/Eunice
